As you step into Hide on The Hill, you enter the boot room, shed muddy boots and jackets before entering the open-plan living space. Slide open the doors, and you’ll find yourself on the private terrace, where outdoor seating invites you enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, with the iconic Glastonbury Tor in the distance. On the first floor you’ll discover two bedrooms, the master bedroom features a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom, equipped with bunk beds for both adults and children, is ideal for accommodating families. Additional amenities include a shower room on the ground floor and a utility room for added convenience.

Exploring beyond, discover the vibrant town of Glastonbury, the historic city of Wells, and the cheesy allure of Cheddar, all conveniently accessible by bicycle. Hide on the Hill is the nearest accommodation to Westhay National Nature Reserve, just 1 mile away. Numerous delightful pubs, cafes, and restaurants sit close by.

Old Farm is a stunning Barn conversion in Southwood, just outside of Glastonbury. Converted to an extremely high standard in 2021, it’s the perfect base from which to explore Somerset. Drive past the orchard and enter through the gates into your private driveway where Old Farm awaits you, through the large Oak front door the bright and airy living space opens in front of you to welcome you in. The central open plan living space has beautiful large doors opening to the garden, a wood burner for those cosy evenings and sumptuous furnishings to allow you to relax into whilst watching TV or chilling with a glass of your favourite tipple. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine as well as everything else you will need to whip up a fantastic dinner or just a simple breakfast. There is also a sitting room with large floor to ceiling windows, you can also sleep up to two extra guests on the sofa bed in here. Off the open plan living area you will find the fabulous bedrooms, both have double beds, hairdryers and en-suite bathrooms. Outside you have your private garden, with outdoor seating area and fantastic views across the fields.
There are fabulous walks in all directions that can be taken from the doorstep, whilst the towns of Glastonbury and Street are just under 15 minutes drive away. Glastonbury, famous for its festival and ancient legends, has a great mix of eclectic shops and larger stores whilst Street is well known for its outlet shopping centre, Clarks Village, where designer bargains are to be found! Within an hour’s drive you have a wealth of National Trust properties to explore as well as fun days out at the likes of Longleat and Haynes Motor Museum.

Situated in mid Somerset in the village of Baltonsborough, these converted barns (refs UKC2869 and UKC2870) are situated on a working farm, down a no-through road in an area surrounded by open countryside offering far-reaching, panoramic views. These semi-detached barn conversions offer open-plan living spaces with exposed beams, flagstone floors, wood burner and underfloor heating, and there are large glazed doors which open out onto a courtyard. This accommodation is in an area with numerous footpaths and bridleways across open countryside, ideal for walking, cycling and relaxing.

The properties make an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area. Visit Glastonbury Abbey with its ruins, Glastonbury Tor, the village of Street, which is home to a designer shopping outlet, and the cathedral city of Wells with its Bishops Palace and gardens. Bath, a World Heritage Site, has plenty of interesting architecture to explore, as well as a large selection of shops and restaurants. The town of Bruton is also worth a visit, and offers the Hauser and Wirth Gallery and Arts Centre. For the golf enthusiasts, there are courses within easy reach.

Lyme Regis and West Bay, part of the Jurassic Coast, provide coastal walks, fishing, boating and fossil hunting. Wildlife enthusiasts will find plenty of nature reserves nearby, including Avalon Marshes, Ham Wall, Westhay and Shapwich Heath. Other attractions within easy reach include Dunster Castle, Cheddar Gorge, the Mendip Hills (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), Haynes Motor Museum, the Fleet Air Arm Museum and many National Trust properties such as Barrington Court, Lytes Cary, Stourhead, Dyrham Park and Forde Abbey. For cyclists, the properties are based near to the renowned National Cycle Network, and the properties have storage for bikes.

Part of a complex of four converted farm buildings, all offering their own unique characteristics. Each property has its own individual outdoor space, with dedicated hot tub. All properties also benefit from shared use of the tennis court on site.


Applebarn (ref UK10654) features stunning open plan downstairs living space and provides comfortable accommodation upstairs in two bedrooms for up to 4 adults, plus 2 children. Note that the bunk beds are not suitable for adults.


The Farmhouse (ref UK10655) provides accommodation for up to 8 people in four bedroom and features log burners and a games room equipped with pool table and games console.


The Dairy (UK38051) is beautiful cosy two-bedroom holiday home for up to 5 guests featuring a double-sided wood burner between the kitchen and lounge. It also features a games room with games console.


The Bungalow (UK38049) is a beautiful three-bedroom holiday home, featuring a large open plan kitchen/dining/living area with a convertable dining/pool table and a 85" TV The Bungalow boasts stunning uninterrupted views of Glastonbury Tor.


All properties are situated on the owner’s farm in a small village called West Pennard, which is 3½ miles from Glastonbury.


All properties offer comfortable bedrooms, some with en-suite facilities, great self-catering facilities and spacious living areas perfect for unwinding in after a busy day sightseeing.


Guests can enjoy their own walled/fenced garden areas for entertaining outside, with the added bonus of use of your own hot tub and shared use of the on-site tennis court.


Please note total privacy in the garden areas is not possible due to the location of properties in relation to each other on the site and the hot tub may not be fully up to the recommend temperature on the first night of your stay due to the need to empty and clean between guests.


You will find this peaceful location an ideal place for relaxing or for touring the West Country, including Glastonbury, with its famous tor and abbey, Wells, with its cathedral, The Bishop’s Palace and Wookey Hole Caves, and the city of Bath World Heritage Site, with its Georgian architecture, designer shops and fantastic world cuisine. Welcome to The Lodge at Newmeads Farm, set in 50 acres of woodland, just a stone’s throw from Glastonbury Tor and full of local wildlife. The lodge has been finished to a high standard, enter into the large open plan living area, diner and kitchen, with vaulted ceilings and large French doors bringing in masses of light. The kitchen comes fully equipped with an American fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. The living room has a double sofa bed and an electric fire for those cooler evenings to cosy up in front of, or in the summer fling open the French doors to the decked terrace and allow the fresh country air in.
The master bedroom has a double bed, plenty of wardrobe storage and a large en-suite shower room, the second bedroom has twin beds while the spacious bathroom has a bath, toilet and heated towel rail. Outside, the lodge has a large, decked area with garden furniture to enjoy the views across the fields, there are 2 large ponds next to the lodge which attract all kinds of wildlife, which makes for a wonderful way to spend time when not exploring the local attractions. In less than a mile there is a local farm with shop and spa retreat, Middlewick Farm and in 1.5 miles there is a local beer shop. The ancient medieval town of Glastonbury can be reached in just 5 minutes by car or head across the fields by foot and be there in 20 minutes while skirting the base of the Tor at the same time. Glastonbury is full of eclectic shops as well as bars, restaurants and museums to explore, where you can enjoy the 36 acres of Glastonbury Abbey and soak up the legends and myths of King Arthur, after learning all about the ruins from the excellent museum. Hop in the car and visit the designer outlet at Clarks Village in Street for some retail bargains, head to Cheddar to visit the famous gorge and sample some Yes Cheddar Cheese or see if you can find the Witch at Wookey Hole Caves!
The smallest city in the UK, Wells is definitely worth a visit, especially on market days, Wednesday and Saturday, when the streets come alive with local stalls by the cathedral.

Welcome to The Old Post House, a delightful, two-bedroom cottage. Fully renovated in 2023 to a very good standard, it is set close to the towns of Street, famous for its Clarks designer outlet village and Glastonbury, with its ancient medieval abbey and tor.
Inside, on the ground floor you have a fabulous open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay, whether you are having a light breakfast or a full meal! The dining area is perfect for eating or playing games of an evening while the living area has comfy sofas and a Smart TV, ideal to snuggle up in front of while catching up on the latest box set! Heading upstairs, bedroom one has a zip and link super kingsize bed, allowing for a couple to share or turn it into twin beds for friends or children! The second bedroom has a kingsize bed. Both bedrooms share a lovely ‘Jack and Jill’ en-suite shower room.
The local pub is just a 5 minute walk away, offering good food, local ale and a large beer garden, and is also dog friendly so you can bring your furry friends! Also with countryside on the doorstep with miles of local walks accessible directly from the property.
There is so much to do in the area, Street has many wonderful shops to explore, and the designer outlet is a must do, it’s a shopaholic’s dream and has plenty of restaurants to enjoy. Glastonbury with its eclectic mix of shops, ancient abbey and tor is just a 10-minute drive away or head to Wells, one of England’s smallest cities, and mosey around the cathedral, visit the market, or have a coffee in one of the many independent coffee shops. If you fancy something bigger, head to Bath and feast your eyes on the architecture or treat yourself to a luxurious pamper day at the Roman Spa Baths! For families, pop over to Wookey Hole Caves for the day, see if you can find the famous witch of Wookey Hole or head to Cheddar and see the mountains goats climbing through the gorge!
