Bee Keepers Cottage is located on a working farm on the edge of Derbyshire’s Peak District, the cottage overlooks the 18 hole golf course at Shirland Golf and country club where visitors day passes are available.

The cottage has beautiful rural views and offers guests the peace and quiet of rural living yet within easy access of local attractions and transport networks, and there is a golf course boarding the property’s grounds and miles of footpath networks adjacent to the farm.

The accommodation at Bee Keepers cottage is spaced over a single storey and offers light, bright accommodation with beautiful gardens and views of the rolling Derbyshire countryside.

Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall and Crich tramway museum are a short drive away. Local towns include Matlock, Bakewell and Chesterfield. Derby and Nottinghamshire are a 20-minute drive.

The location is popular with walkers who enjoy the beautiful walks and trails straight from the doorstep.

All accommodation is on the ground floor. The Large modern kitchen/dining area to seat 6 and opens out onto the living area with Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric eye level oven, built in microwave, induction hob, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Two bedrooms have king size beds, and the third a single bed, and there is a family bathroom with bath and shower above – there is also an additional shower room with quadrant shower cubicle, toilet and basin.

Outside there are two seating areas, a BBQ, gardens and plenty of off-road parking.

Guests are welcome to visit the horses in the barn next to the property (prior arrangement with the owner), please supervise children for their safety.

The Firs is a delightful family and dog friendly end-terrace cottage, nestled away in the quaint village of Carbis Bay, just 1 mile from the beautiful coastal resort of St Ives. This charming property has three well-furnished bedrooms each with its own TV. There is a large family bathroom on the first floor. As you enter the property, kick of your shoes in the porch and relax into a bright and spacious open plan living and dining area, boasting beautiful wooden beams and natural stone flooring. This area has direct patio door access to the enclosed courtyard, making it the perfect place for al fresco dining, entertaining or just enjoying the sunshine. From the sitting area is a modern, well-equipped kitchen leading to a utility room with washing machine and toilet.

The cottage is situated on a quiet side road with its own off-street parking bay, within easy walking distance of a restaurant, pub and fish and chip shop, as well as a small supermarket, pharmacy, bus stop and coastal train station. Within 0.7 miles is the stunning Carbis Bay Beach with its golden sand and turquoise waters. Here you can enjoy various water activities, eat and drink at the restaurants or just sit back and relax on this gorgeous beach. From here, there are spectacular views of St Ives Harbour, Godrevy lighthouse, Gwithian and Hayle Towans.

St. Ives is a beautiful resort and can easily be accessed on foot via the South West Coastal Path or take the coastal train for spectacular clifftop views. St Ives has much more to offer than just beautiful beaches. Take a boat trip, wander around the shops or visit the Tate Gallery or Barbara Hepworth Museum. Cafés, restaurants and pubs are plentiful. For dogs, there are plenty of woods, coastal and scenic walks within easy distance of the cottage or take the South West Coastal Path to Porthkidney Beach which is dog friendly all year round. At the end of the day head back and enjoy the solitude, sit outside and watch the incredible night skies whilst you plan the next day’s adventure.

Upon entering the property, you are greeted by a very welcoming dining room with a beamed ceiling and connected directly to a lovely open plan kitchen with a fantastic, homely feel. Relax and unwind in the very comfy sofas after a long day exploring the Jurassic Coastline. Situated in a quiet rural location, Bardon Lodge is a spacious property attached to the owner’s home and set within 10 acres of grounds. The property is surrounded by fields and woodland, yet close enough to all amenities. The property has been decorated and furnished to a very good standard and is all on one level with both bedrooms having en-suite facilities. There are so many places to visit and so easy to get to. Take a trip to Totnes where there are many shops, markets and walks along the riverbank. Dartmoor is just a short car ride where you can see the ponies, walk the Tors or simply stop off in one of the many villages for a Devon cream tea. Paignton, Torquay and Brixham are also great places to visit, as are Exeter and Plymouth, both within 30 minutes’ drive. There are many National Trust properties including Agatha Christie’s summer home ’Greenway’, well worth a visit. For the children, there is Crealy Adventure park, or Go Ape in Haldon. If you are bringing a bicycle, there are many cycle ways off road to be explored, including Powderham Castle where there is a cycle track all along the estuary. Blackhill Gate Cottage is set in an unrivalled rural location offering superb panoramic countryside views across the stunning scenery of the Peak District National Park. Crossing the Derbyshire and Cheshire boundary on the outskirts of the pretty Peak District village of Kettleshulme, this holiday cottage is located next to a field which at times is home to nursery lambs, and offers fine walking direct from the door through the valley of Todd Brook, Bowstones, Taxal Edge and into the Goyt Valley. Kettleshulme itself is home to a 15th century country pub which offers a warm welcome and freshly cooked meals. The town of Whaley Bridge with its mix of shops, bars and restaurants plus train station with direct service to both Manchester and Buxton is a 5 minute drive. The National Trust Lyme Park with its glorious house and gardens can be reached on foot or by car and the magnificent historic houses of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and the popular market town of Bakewell, 45 minute’s drive. A variety of Peak District villages are all easily reachable within half an hour’s drive including Edale, Tideswell and Castleton, and great days out for the family within an hour’s drive include the local Chestnut Centre Wildlife Park, Carsington Water, Matlock Bath with is cable car and the UK’s premier theme park Alton Towers. Llandremor Fawr Cottage is set within 340 acres of the owner’s home and working farm. It stands and is detached and surrounded by hills and countryside offering a comfortable base from which to explore the area. There is so much to see and do in south west Wales. Wonderful walks are available from the doorstep or visit the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Black Mountains. For stunning beaches visit the Gower Peninsula, Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can enjoy long stretches of golden sands, hidden coves and cliff top walks. Some attractions include the National Showcaves, the National Botanical Gardens and Aberglasney Gardens. Afan Forest Park is home to five world-class trails for the mountain biking enthusiasts. Fun family day trips could include Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo or Oakwood Theme Park. Swansea has many bars, restaurants and shops and Cardiff, the bustling capital city of Wales, is well worth a visit with its castle, museum and Millennium Stadium.
