Brand new for 2023, we are proud to offer Stork Cottage - a beautifully restored holiday home located in an unspoiled and natural hamlet.
The front door leads to a vestibule with a boot rack and coat hooks, leading into the kitchen. The kitchen is bright and equipped with everything you may need, along with a small breakfast area where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The original pantry is located off the kitchen providing extra storage, a washing machine, and an iron and ironing board. Adjacent to the kitchen is the living room where you will find a cosy sofa and armchair, plus a dining table and chairs. This room also benefits from a wood burner, TV, and DVD player. On the first floor are two spacious bedrooms, one double, and the other a twin, both beautifully furnished, with ample storage. The contemporary bathroom is also on this floor and features a large walk-in shower, sink with vanity unit, mirror, toilet, and heated towel rail. We recommend settling in and then popping next door to a hotel where you can sample their traditional beers, excellent wines, and homemade food. A restaurant serving tasty food and drink is also within walking distance.
Conder Green is a pretty location near Lancaster and is a fine place for a walk, bike ride, or kayaking. The area includes the picturesque Glasson Dock, the Lancaster Canal, and views of the tidal River Conder which runs through the area. This dog-friendly cottage is the ideal starting point for visiting The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, and other regions of Lancashire, including the coastal towns of Morecambe, Blackpool, and Arnside. Lancaster University and Lancaster city centre are both within a 10-minute drive.
You can walk, cycle, bird watch, and boat at Conder Green, which is located beside the picturesque salt marshes of the Lune estuary. If you love the outdoors and being close to water, this property won’t disappoint!

Located in the quiet rural village of Stalmine, the property is ideally placed for exploring Lancashire, the Fylde Coast and beyond. Stalmine is located approximately 5 miles from the small market town of Poulton-le-Fylde which has a good selection of shops, bars, and cafés. Other places that are worth a visit along the Fylde coast include Thornton Cleveleys with its old-fashioned charm and promenade, 7 miles, Fleetwood with its Freeport Outlet Shopping Village, 10 miles, and of course Blackpool, 9 miles, whose many attractions include The Tower, Blackpool Zoo, Pleasure Beach, Sea Life Centre, and Madame Tussauds.
Apart from being accessible for the coast, Carr End Barn A is also well-placed for exploring rural Lancashire. Ribble Valley with its pretty villages is within an hour’s drive, and it’s an excellent choice for walks and country pubs. The Forest of Bowland, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, can also be reached within an hour’s drive. The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are also very accessible by road and can be reached in an hour. The city of Lancaster is just 13 miles away and Preston is 19 miles. Beach 9¾ miles. This former farm house at West Boundary Farm has been thoughtfully converted into two bright and comfortable holiday cottages (ref. 27557 and ref. 27558). An interconnecting door between the two cottages means that they can either be enjoyed independently or as one larger holiday home. Situated down a private lane on the outskirts of the small village of Pilling, these properties are ideal for exploring the North West coast. Blackpool, Lytham St Annes, Fleetwood and Poulton-le-Fylde are all within a short drive. Alternatively, the Trough of Bowland, Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are all easily accessible by car. Hazel Grove House is a wonderful Georgian residence, originally a farmhouse, which has benefited from extensive upgrading. Notable changes were made by a gentleman doctor owner in the 1840s, and full renovation by the current owner, who lives in an adjoining cottage, means that the property offers an excellent level of comfort and facilities. Spacious and well-presented living spaces provide families and groups the flexibility to spread out a little and utilise the space to their own requirements. The kitchen flows beautifully into the dining area, sure to be a hub for socialising and enjoying time shared around the table. Nature lovers will delight in the regular visits to the gardens of the roe deer and fallow deer which inhabit the surrounding fields, as well as hedgehogs, frogs, toads, a green woodpecker, curlews, herons, pheasants and owls. A short drive away in the Silverdale and Arnside Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty you can explore the Leighton Moss RSPB Centre great for nature lovers.
Hazel Grove House offers an ideal location from which to explore a choice of popular destinations within a 30-minute drive, including The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland. Inland, Farleton Knott is a popular local attraction and visible from the gardens, and from here and neighbouring Hutton Roof Crags, the Lake District Fells across Morecambe Bay can be seen, as well as the Howgill Fells and Middleton Fells in the Yorkshire Dales, together with the moors of Bowland Forest.
