The former barn, dating back to the early 19th century, has been beautifully converted into a delightful retreat for both families and couples. The open plan living area has been decorated with a rustic charm using neutral tones. It features exposed beams and a traditional wood-burning stove for cosy nights in. Outside, relax in the private garden and enjoy alfresco dining, or stroll in the nearby scenic Stackpole Estate (NT) and discover its fantastic walks and beautiful sites including the glistening Bosherston Lily Ponds, famous for its otters and water lilies, and the stunning beaches at Broadhaven and Barafundle, with their golden sands and crystal blue waters.
The historic walled town of Pembroke is just 3 miles away and features a magnificent Norman castle, which is famous as the birthplace of Henry VII. The bustling coastal resort of Tenby is within easy reach and is renowned for its picturesque harbour, narrow cobbled streets and pastel painted Georgian houses. It has a variety of boutique gift shops, traditional pubs and highly acclaimed restaurants.
Take a boat trip to the historic island of Caldey, with its Celtic monastery and Cistercian monks, who have made it a holy island for hundreds of years. Away from the coast, explore the rolling hills of Preseli and discover its ancient sites dotted along its rugged terrain, or visit the market town of Narbeth, with its antique shops, art galleries and numerous cafés and tasteful restaurants. Nestled in the rolling Pembrokeshire countryside, this semi-detached cottage is conveniently located in Stepaside, a quaint hamlet, just a short walk from the coastal village of Wisemans Bridge where you can enjoy a stroll on the beach, and some home cooking and a local ale in the inn. To relax those aching muscles after a busy day sightseeing, you can retire to your very own private hot tub with unobstructed sea views over Saundersfoot Bay, Monkstone Point and Caldey Island watching the sun drop on those balmy summer days and observing the many stars overhead.

Caldey View has been thoughtfully furnished throughout, and finished to a very good standard. It has spacious, open plan living, dining and kitchen areas featuring a double-sided wood burner, and the galley style kitchen is the perfect place to prepare those special occasion meals with your family, or you can opt to dine al fresco to take in the sea air. The bi-fold doors almost bring the outside indoors, and the raised decking offers a fantastic entertaining space, leading down to the garden which has magnificent sea views.

Within a 10-minute walk you can be rambling on the coastal path through Wisemans Bridge and on to the harbour town of Saundersfoot, where you can enjoy a host of restaurants specialising in local produce and hand-caught fish, or fresh fish and chips on the harbour wall. A 10-minute drive from Caldey View brings you to the sandy beaches in Tenby, and nearby you can enjoy quad biking, fishing, golf, boat trips and a host of wildlife along this ‘picture postcard’ coastline. It is centrally located within the county, just a few minutes’ drive to the Preseli Hills where you can enjoy some stunning forestry walks and take on the highest point in Pembrokeshire, Foel Cwmcerwyn, with outstanding views across west Wales. After a brisk walk, enjoy a local ale and some freshly cooked home produce in the nearby pub. The beautiful town of Narberth is close by and here you can enjoy a host of boutique shops, café, delicatessens and antique shops on the bustling high street.

Here, you can also walk to Traeth Llyfn, a fabulously secluded sandy beach. 10 minutes away visit St Davids, the UK’s smallest city with its array of shops, restaurants and yet more sandy beaches including Whitesands and Caerfai.

Our closest beaches, Abermawr and Aberbach, are within walking distance or a very short drive. Further afield the stunning sands of Barafundle, Broad Haven and Newport Sands, to name but a few, are within striking distance by car. Mathry, the closest village, is a two-minute drive, where a village pub and restaurant specialise in home-cooked food, and a fantastic café offer freshly baked cakes, with nearby Letterston or Fishguard providing local shops and amenities.
