Castle Douglas, Scotland’s food town, is a 5-minute drive away and is a delightful small market town with an array of independent shops selling produce and quality gifts. There are number of cafés, pubs, and restaurants to enjoy a meal in, as well as excellent butchers and food shops for you to sample the local produce.
