Pantyffynnon station is within walking distance of the property on Heart of Wales line to Shrewsbury or Cardiff in the other
direction.

Maesydderwen, meaning oak field, started life as a working farm and later became a country inn, but is now a collection of delightful holiday cottages, beautifully situated within the living landscape of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Tiggywinkle Cottage sits in the heart of the picturesque village of Hawnby. Surrounded by the North York Moors National Park, this 200-year-old, detached, traditional Yorkshire cottage, which was fully refurbished and extended in 2020, is simply delightful. Tiggywinkle Cottage was named by a walker during the 1950s who took time to sit and draw the property. The villagers fell in love with the name and so it remains, along with the original pencil sketch which now hangs within the cottage.
On arrival visitors are welcomed into the open plan living area. This room oozes character with its low ceilings and stone floors, tall visitors will need to take care! There is a country kitchen and large comfortable sofas around the wood burner in the open plan living area.
