    Beachwood is ideally located to explore both Suffolk and Norfolk. Visit the Norfolk Broads National Park, with its southern gateway, Oulton Broad, just a short drive away, with good restaurants and a wine bar. Lowestoft is an old-fashioned traditional town offering shopping, beaches, two piers with family entertainment and restaurants. The popular town of Southwold is about a 35-minute drive away. National Trust properties in the vicinity include Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham Park and Horsey Windpump. Make sure you visit Horsey Beach between December and February for your chance to spot hundreds of grey seals and pups along the shore. Beach 12 miles. The village of Buxton has a pub, shop and a fish and chip shop 1¼ miles.
