Set in 18 acres of beautiful natural grounds and woodland, this charming wooden holiday lodge has its own private outdoor space along with shared use of an indoor heated plunge pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and table tennis table. Extended and refurbished in 2021, there is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a new kitchen, and a large veranda with seating and an external heater.
Right on the doorstep of the magnificent Langdales, 2½ miles from Ambleside and 8 miles from Coniston. It is a perfect base for touring and exploring the footpaths in the area with numerous woodland and hill walks straight from the door. Great for wildlife lovers, with deer and other animals freely wandering through this small, select woodland retreat. The Lake District Visitor Centre near Windermere is worth a visit (activities include high ropes, horse riding etc), as is the nearby water sports centre on Windermere. Pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Corton lies just north of Lowestoft, the most easterly point of the UK. Beachwood is set amongst a secluded woodland setting and has frontline sea views. It is also considered to be the one with the most private, quiet and secluded settings. The photographs of the interiors speak for themselves. The kitchen is well equipped according to our many extremely satisfied guests to date. Tea coffee and milk is provided so guests don’t arrive late and find they can’t make a hot drink. The huge decking stretches to the cliff edge with views onto the award-winning beach. Stunning sunrises each morning which, should you so wish, can be watched while you relax in the hot tub! At night it lights up via a button. String lights have now been installed which are on a timer, which creates a wonderful evening ambience. The beach is never busy which makes for relaxing walks in both summer and winter and is accessed via a lovely short walk through the woods. It is also a dog friendly beach year-round. There are no shops or plastic swings and slides at Ocean Glade. It is very peaceful, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. There is a pub a 10-minute walk into the centre of the village which serves food, plus a small shop which also sells newspapers and a Chinese takeaway that only takes cash. There is a shopping complex a few minutes’ drive away with plenty of free parking.
Beachwood is ideally located to explore both Suffolk and Norfolk. Visit the Norfolk Broads National Park, with its southern gateway, Oulton Broad, just a short drive away, with good restaurants and a wine bar. Lowestoft is an old-fashioned traditional town offering shopping, beaches, two piers with family entertainment and restaurants. The popular town of Southwold is about a 35-minute drive away. There is so much to do and see in the area and you would be advised to google your preferences for details etc. Far too much to write here!

Enjoying open views across the countryside, this detached, 200-year old property is full of character and charm. Inverspey is a detached bungalow, set in its own grounds, enjoying uninterrupted views across open farmland to the hills and sea beyond. The interior of the cottage has been completely renovated throughout to an exceptionally high standard. The large living/dining room has deep leather sofa suites and a superb cylindrical wood burner set in the corner of the room. Floor-to-ceiling bi-fold doors open onto the large decked area and lawned garden, where there is a barbecue, gas fire pit and outdoor dining furniture. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped, with high quality built-in units. A corridor leads down to the spacious bedrooms, one of which has a zip and link kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room with a large, walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a kingsize bed and a superb en-suite wet room complete with a deep double-ended feature bath. Outside you will find the beautiful garden which extend around the property. A particular feature is a second decked area with outdoor furniture, known as the ’Prosecco deck’, a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the distant sea views whilst planning the next day’s excursion or activity. Inverspey is ideal for couples and families looking for an indulgent and luxurious holiday in a wonderful location.

Inverspey lies on the Spey Bay Trail and on the edge of Spey Bay, a beautiful hamlet that leads directly onto the bay and the River Spey. The immediate area is renowned for its wildlife with the National Scottish Dolphin and Whale Centre just a few yards from the cottage, where you can learn about the amazing bottlenose dolphins and other wildlife that are regularly seen close by, including seals, osprey, minke whale and even rare sea eagles. The centre also runs bat watching tours and the opportunity to explore the UK’s largest surviving ice house. Spey Bay is home to the largest shingle beach in Scotland. There are wonderful walks direct from the cottage along River Spey, renowned for its salmon fishing (permits available locally, in season). The Spey Bay golf course is just a few minutes’ walk away; this lovely coastal links course is open to visitors and there are discounts available for guests, who can also visit the club house, which serves meals and also has a bar. The Malt Whisky Trail is situated over nine locations in Speyside and is well worth a visit. There are numerous sporting activities locally, including sailing, kayaking, fishing, golf, cycling and hill-walking, as well as plenty of interesting places to visit within a short drive. The stately homes of Sledmere House, Burton Agnes Hall and Sewerby Hall are waiting to be explored. Enjoy a day watching the wildlife spectacle at RSPB Bempton Cliffs or enjoy the tranquility of the Spurn Point Nature Reserve.
