This cosy terraced cottage, dating back to the 1800s, has been carefully furnished to provide a comfortable holiday property. There is a roaring wood burner in the living room for winter nights and a rear courtyard for relaxing on summer evenings. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, and the second bedroom is ideal for young families, with bunk beds and a cabin bed. Beeford has a great range of facilities including a village shop, pub, Chinese restaurant and a fish and chip shop. A famous ice cream parlour, Mr Moos, is situated on a farm close by. Jet skiing and clay pigeon shooting are also available locally. The cottage provides a perfect base from which to explore the traditional east coast resorts of Hornsea, Bridlington and Filey, and the rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds. There are miles of sandy beaches and opportunities for fishing and sailing, and Bridlington Spa features an exciting entertainment programme. Bird lovers can enjoy visiting Hornsea Mere and RSPB Bempton Cliffs, and interesting days out can be spent at Sewerby Hall and Sledmere House. Isla’s Cottage is a cosy 18th-century Welsh cottage situated in the quaint village of Ystradgynlais, Swansea Valley. It’s central location is ideal for visiting the Gower Peninsula with its award winning beaches, the Brecon Beacons National Park and other local attractions. Ideal for couples and families. The cottage is a short walk from the village centre where there are numerous cafés, bars, restaurants and lovely shops. The cottage has a multi-fuel burner, perfect for a cosy night in after a day of walking/activities. Other facilities include an enclosed garden with patio area, perfect for your canine companions.
The cottage is full of character, and downstairs you will find a bathroom with shower over P-shaped bath, a good sized kitchen with gas hob, electric oven and washing machine. The kitchen leads to an enclosed garden with seating and a bike store, and upstairs there is one double and one single bedroom.
There is lots to do in this area, and with being centrally based, you can be on the beach in 40 minutes or in the mountains in 30 minutes. There are lots of walks to be found near the property, great for taking your four-legged friends. Horse riding is available a short drive from the property, and the award winning Dan yr Ogof show caves is great day out for adults and kids alike. The village of Bradwell is set in the hills of the Peak District National Park and the cottage is located on the side of a steep hillside. Perfectly placed for a holiday exploring the Peak District. The spa town of Buxton, the market town of Bakewell and the Chatsworth stately home are all within 10 miles. Excellent walking and riding terrain locally.
