The nearby South-West Coastal Path passes through some of the most dramatic scenery of its route.
Away from the coast, explore the beauty of Bodmin Moor, a vast moorland peppered with fascinating granite Tors. The Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway chugs along for 6 miles and back and will delight children of all ages including steam train enthusiasts.

Within Cumbria are Banks Turret, near Brampton and Birdoswald Roman Fort a few miles away.
