There are wildlife cameras which feed live pictures direct to the flatscreen TV in each cottage, so you can watch barn owls, badgers and other wildlife. The area is rich in wildlife and ideal for walkers. Whitelee Farm is an idyllic base for exploring the Roman wall, Lindisfarne, Alnwick Castle, Kielder Forest Park and the Scottish borders. Newcastle and Edinburgh are within an easy drive. Shopping in Otterburn and Jedburgh, both 15 minutes away.

The village of Bradwell is set in the hills of the Peak District National Park and the cottage is located on the side of a steep hillside. Perfectly placed for a holiday exploring the Peak District. The spa town of Buxton, the market town of Bakewell and the Chatsworth stately home are all within 10 miles. Excellent walking and riding terrain locally. The local market town of North Walsham is 5 miles for regular market days, and Bacton Woods close by, ideal for cycling, walking and woodland picnics. Bird watching, golf and fishing all available locally. Alternatively spend a day in the fine city of Norwich, with its cathedrals, museums, theatres, shopping and array of cafes and restaurants.
