22 Sea is a beautifully presented end of terrace house nestled in a quiet corner of ‘The Bay’, a purpose built holiday village overlooking Filey bay on the picturesque North Yorkshire coastline. With open plan living, and stunning full height windows providing access to a first floor balcony.

The sitting room features large deep filled sofas placed around a traditional wood burning stove; ideal for cooler winter months. Here you can relax and unwind after a long day at the beach whilst catching up on your favourite holiday movie. The modern kitchen sits to one side and the appliances include both a washer/dryer and dishwasher. The dining table provides plenty of seating for six and is ideally placed to enjoy a family breakfast or delicious home cooked evening meal.
Two sets of bi-fold doors provide access to a covered patio area and flood the room with natural light. An understairs cupboard provides space for storage and a WC completes the ground floor accommodation.
Take the stairs to the first floor and you will find two stunning and spacious bedrooms, a kingsize double and a double room with traditional bunk beds. Both bedrooms offer the ’wow’ factor with vaulted ceilings and full height cathedral windows which open up to provide access to a full length, south facing balcony with lovely views across the holiday park. Here you can sit and enjoy an early morning coffee or perhaps a relaxing glass of wine after a busy day.
Completing the interior is a spacious bathroom, featuring a shower over bath.
Outside of the house is a covered patio area with a table and chairs and a brick-built BBQ; a real sun trap which can be accessed from the open plan living area. A peaceful and secluded spot to sit and relax (not enclosed). This holiday home welcomes dogs and there are miles of dog-friendly beaches to explore and also a meadow for them to enjoy.
The Bay has many facilities to make your stay enjoyable including a coffee shop, convenience store, pharmacy, and the John Paul Jones family pub and restaurant. It also boasts a leisure complex comprising of an indoor, heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. You can also enjoy a game of tennis or hone your archery skills (additional charges apply).
Just a short drive away is the traditional seaside town of Filey where you can find a plethora of tea rooms, restaurants and pubs alongside amusement arcades and shops selling holiday essentials such as buckets and spades! This beautiful part of North Yorkshire offers something for everyone including miles of cycle routes and footpaths to explore including the breathtaking cliffs at Flamborough Headland. For golf fans enjoy a round on the beautiful Bridlington Links Golf Course. A little further afield is the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the historic City of York and the birthplace of Captain James Cook, Whitby. Holemoor Cottage is peacefully located amidst the glorious Devon countryside yet only 7 miles from the golden sands of the Cornish coast with Bude and Widemouth Bay, which has excellent surfing, pretty coves and dramatic coastal walks. This delightful wing of the owner’s 17th century farmhouse is situated down a secluded country lane with electric gates to the driveway making this an ideal holiday retreat. Guests can enjoy the luxury of their own private indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi. The whole area is alive with wildlife, so regular sightings of barn owls, rare British birds and roe deer are not unusual. The sunny patio area is the perfect spot for a summer BBQ or a lazy breakfast before exploring the grounds. Children can let off steam in the play field with a swing and slide, and will be thrilled to see the ponies and chickens - they might even be able to help collect the eggs. A cream tea and a welcome pack on your arrival is the finishing touch to make this a holiday to remember.
A superb holiday choice whatever the time of year with the indoor pool it is ideal for families or couples seeking peace and seclusion. If you can bear to drag yourself away, there are water sports and fishing at the nearby Tamar Lakes, coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, horse riding, cycling or simply relaxing. Family theme parks including The Milky Way and The Big Sheep. Pretty fishing villages and spectacular beaches and coves are dotted all along this coastline from Padstow, Tintagel, Crackington Haven to Bude in Cornwall and on to Westward Ho!, Clovelly and Instow in Devon, and for a great day out, the famous Eden Project is within easy reach. Beach 7 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Situated 200 yards from Loch Sunart in the bay of Camas Inas with access to a rocky beach and the cottages own mooring, this newly renovated cottage is perfectly situated to explore the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, the most westerly part of the UK. In the grounds of the cottage is a garage for storing kayaks, paddle boards and bicycles. It is just one minutes’ walk to the loch where you can swim or fish and have close up views of passing dolphins and otters. There is also horse riding, canoeing and water rafting locally as well as clay pigeon shooting.
The cottage is all on one level with five steps up to it with two bedrooms, one which can either be a double size bed or twin beds lounge bathroom and kitchen. A cot is available for babies.
The double glazing and central heating are complemented by an open fire (with fireguard) and a supply of logs provided. Designed to make you feel cosy and comfortable, the cottage is decorated to remind you of Victorian Scotland but has every modern comfort. There are lots of stunning hill and loch-side walks in the area with Castle Tioram being one of the most beautiful sights to see in Scotland. Glen Coe and Ben Nevis with skiing are not far but you can also take a short drive to pubs, award winning restaurants, cafe’s, distillery, or smokehouse to enjoy local produce of seafood or venison. Drive further down the Pensinsula to the award winning organic Ardnamurchan Distillery or to Kilchoan and the Ardnamurchan lighthouse and then take the ferry across to Mull and visit Tobermory and several fish restaurants all selling local fresh caught produce.
Nearby there is a post office and two general food shops. The fish man comes every Tuesday with freshly landed fish including langoustine and lobsters. Venison and organically grown vegetables can be bought locally. You can also order a delivery from a local supermarket in Fort William for basic supplies although there will be items like tea, bread, milk, eggs, and wine in a welcome hamper for you on arrival.
There is a local GP and the area has its own ambulance, coastguard, fire service and police on the peninsula.

Dogs are welcome at Sunset Cottage and The Bay offers a meadow that is dog friendly, a short walk will also bring you to the beach. On site you can also find a coffee shop, pharmacy and the John Paul Jones family pub and restaurant. The Bay also boast a leisure complex which includes an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym.
During the summer months visitors can enjoy other activities including a putting green, archery, and tennis courts (additional charges may apply). Take a walk along the beach and find yourselves in the pretty seaside town of Filey, where you can explore quaint streets lined with tea rooms, restaurants, and traditional amusements.
Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park will also provide fun for the whole family. A little further afield is the delightful village of Flamborough with its working lighthouse. A visit here would not be complete without a walk along to cliffs of Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast.
If golf is your thing, then book a round at the Bridlington Links Golf Course. Inland from Sunset Cottage are the unspoilt rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds and the Yorkshire market towns of Malton and Pickering.

Aptly named Lakeside, is nestled alongside the fishing lake, boasting a wonderful and uninterrupted lake view, in a tranquil location within the Carlton Meres Country Park, a short walk away from all the parks’ leisure facilities. Spacious and beautifully furnished with a contemporary modern open plan interior with French doors opening to the seating veranda with table and chairs. You have RSPB Minsmere, 9.5 miles away and Orford Castle 12th Century former Royal fortress, Otley Hall and Gardens, and Easton Farm Park are all within 12 miles for a great family day out. Also worth a visit is Sutton Hoo, the popular market town of Woodbridge for cafés, shops, and restaurants. The Latitude Festival is 20 minutes’ drive away and is held annually at Henham Park. Explore Constable country having wonderful village settings. Shoppers will delight in the towns of Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, and Colchester all within an hour’s drive. Beach 5 miles.
