Enjoy a short stroll to the play barn and café which is perfect for younger children to let off some steam within the village or walk to the coast where you can build sandcastles, sunbath, go fishing or fly a kite.
This cottage has been renovated to a very high standard in 2023 and boasts a sunken hot tub and firepit area with unobstructed sea views from your terrace. Hafan Dawel is situated adjacent to the owner’s home, and is all on one level, enjoying large patio doors leading to the terrace so you can enjoy those glorious views. The open plan living space has been finished to an exceptional standard with modern appliances and ample kitchen space to prepare that special meal. Both sumptuous kingsize bedrooms delight with en-suite wet rooms and sea views.
Aberporth is 5 minutes’ drive away and offers pubs, cafés and two stunning beaches; it’s the perfect destination to explore the three counties of west Wales being centrally located to Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, and Ceredigion.
Travel south to the traditional market town of Cardigan, where the beautifully restored castle is not to be missed with 900 years of history to uncover. Enjoy a short walk into the village to discover the traditional Welsh pub or a freshly brewed coffee in the village café. There’s so much to explore in Cardigan Bay but if you want a day out to Pembrokeshire you can reach the well-known family attractions of Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo within an hour’s drive. Lluest Cottages have been tastefully decorated throughout and equipped with all the appropriate amenities for an unforgettable experience. Each cottage has its own enclosed lawn garden with a patio area where guests can sit, relax and unwind whilst watching the red kites soar over the magnificent scenery or enjoy the wildlife beyond the garden in the woodlands, fields and pond areas that are part of the property. The area itself has lots to offer, including fantastic walks along the Ceredigion coastline, famous for its horseshoe coves, Iron Age settlements and sandy beaches, where bottlenose dolphins and seals can be spotted on a clear day! The picturesque harbour towns of Newquay and Aberaeron offer unblemished beaches, restaurants, boutique shopping and art galleries that are waiting to be explored. Away from the coast, Ceredigion’s countryside is just as promising, with an array of charming market towns and historic castles dotted around the county. For an adventurous day out, take a short drive to the rugged Cambrian Mountains and explore the Cors Caron Nature Reserve, which flourishes with wildlife and the historic ruins of Strata Florida Abbey, which is one of Wales’ most important historical sites. Set in quiet countryside, where red kites can be seen, this detached cottage is about 1½ miles from New Quay on a working farm but separated from its operations.

Converted from an 18th-century barn, retaining many features. Access to Wales Coast Path about 1 mile. There are two lakes on-site, and a pitch and putt area (dependent on weather and ground conditions) which can be accessed via a footbridge at the bottom of one of the two gardens. Two miles from Llangrannog’s sandy beaches, on the cleanest coast in Britain, this comfortable traditionally furnished farmhouse is set in its own gardens surrounded by unspoilt pastureland. Llangrannog offers a small slipway, a village shop, cafes and a pub/restaurant, along with a dry ski slope, whilst the popular harbour town of New Quay has sailing and fishing trips.
The market town of Cardigan has an indoor swimming pool, a sports centre, a skateboard park, art galleries and a theatre/cinema complex. There are two coastal golf courses nearby. The Crown Inn (2 miles) is a noted country traditional pub serving good food and the Harbourmaster in Aberaeron (10 miles) offers award-winning cuisine. Beach 2¾ miles. Pub and restaurant 3¾ miles.

Situated in a peaceful location, Cwm Hyfryd is aptly name as it translates to ’delightful valley’. Step outside and you have a garden to enjoy, simply discover the many lanes and footpaths nearby. The small village of Cross Inn offers a pub and a village store. The nearest pretty secluded cove and beach at Cwmtydu can be reached within 3 miles, renowned for legends of smugglers and pirates, and where today, seals come to have their pups in early autumn. The unspoilt Ceredigion Coastal Path takes you over cliffs and through ancient woodland. The paths offer excellent walking opportunities and connect all the local beaches, many of which are dog friendly all year round if you are bringing your four-legged friend.
Delightful New Quay is also 2¼ miles away with its picturesque houses, pubs and restaurants. The town clings to the side of the hills rising above the blue waters of Cardigan Bay. It’s easy to understand why this area was such an inspiration to poet Dylan Thomas when he lived here. Often bottlenose dolphins can be spotted, and in season, dolphin survey boat trips are available from the sheltered harbour, or you can just enjoy the sandy beach, have an ice cream or fish and chips and watch the boats bobbing about.
Visit the colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, the ancient town of Cardigan with its castle, or Aberystwyth with its promenade and pier, home to the world’s longest working electric cliff railway.

There is also a Dutch barn to the rear where bikes can be stored; also housing an undercover washing line, ideal for drying out those coats should the weather take a turn for the worse! The path from the gardens through the wooded area joins up with the main coastal path which is a 15 minute walk directly to the dog friendly Aberporth beach just 1 mile away; you may even see wallabies and emus along the path. If you fancy adventuring out, there are a number of beaches only a short drive away, including Penbryn, Tresaith, Mwnt, Llangranog and Poppit Sands. Staying local, you’ll have a selection of amenities, including a choice of takeaways, a shop, and dog friendly café and pub within walking distance. As the perfect semi-detached place to base yourself for a relaxing holiday, East Monkton Farm has a certain charm about it from the moment you walk through the door. There is a spacious boot room leading to the kitchen/dining room and the living room is a fabulous size great for family fun in the evenings. There is a ground floor toilet, and on the first floor are two huge double bedrooms with views over the rollingside countryside. A family shower room completes the accommodation. To the rear of the property is a small, grassed area with a gate leading to an enclosed large lawned garden – great for your four-legged friends to run around in - and garden furniture for enjoying the evening sun.
East Monkton Farm lies just 6 miles from the beautiful town of Cowbridge with its array of lovely shops, coffee shops and restaurants. This is truly a perfect place for those wanting to explore the surrounding countryside, whether it be ion foot, by bike or with your dog. Take a stroll to Blaen Y Cwm Nature Reserve and head down to Monknash beach and watch the waves crashing on the shoreline. Enjoy cliff top walks along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast with stunning views across the Bristol Channel to Somerset and North Devon. Beautiful Ogmore-by-Sea is 5 miles away with its huge beach and fabulous sand dunes. The lovely beach at Southerndown is close by too. For the more adventurous, the go-karting centre is just 3 miles from the property, Margam Park with Go Ape is 12 miles away and there are some beautiful walks to be had at Margam Park. The property is only 30 minutes from Cardiff and Swansea and the Gower Peninsula is not too far away. Pub 8-minute walk from the property. Nash point lighthouse is only 10 minutes away overlooking sandbanks, and the national trust Dyffryn gardens is only 25 minuites away. Or take a 10 minute drive to llantwit major, where you can catch the train to Cardiff, Barry or Penarth for a day out.

The Tipis are situated on the owner’s 16-acre farmland, with sea views and beautiful meadows, forestry and waterfalls all on-site and within walking distance from the cottage – there are even pet lambs in the field. This is an ideal break away for a family or friends to enjoy this peaceful location, located just 2 miles from the fabulous quirky harbour towns of Aberaeron. Aberaeron retains its Georgian character with elegant brightly painted town houses and with a small harbour for yachts and fishing boats. Aberaeron is becoming something of a foodie pleasure. Stroll around the harbour along Quay Parade and enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the award-winning restaurants. The independent shops and craft centres are also a big hit amongst our guests. The town is right on the Wales Coast Path and The Coastal Way.
Ceredigion’s coast is also well-known for wildlife including the famous Cardigan Bay bottlenose dolphin pods, there are boat trips to explore the Ceredigion Marine Heritage Coast and the town features a Seafood Festival in July. From chilling out on the beach or enjoying a hearty harbour meal after a train ride Aberystwyth and Newquay which are a short drive offer traditional Welsh pubs, stylish restaurants and sandy beaches, where dolphins and porpoises are often spotted on a clear day. To the north are the famous slopes of Snowdon, offering breath-taking views with abundance of walks amidst the tumbling waterfalls, shimmering lakes with buzzards and peregrine falcons soaring high. The area is a natural playground for ramblers, mountain bikers and climbers alike.
The tipis consist of an open plan living/bedroom space with double bed, single sofa bed, a wood burning stove and externally there is a seating area with garden furniture and a fire pit. The kitchen is approximately 20 metres from the tipi with a fridge, freezer, sink, gas hob and microwave oven. The bathroom has a walk-in shower (wet room), again next to the kitchen area. Llangrannog is the closest beach that has facilities (toilets, pubs/cafes, shower and seasonal lifeguards), approximately 1 mile away. Penbryn beach, approximately 2 miles away, is a long sandy beach which is lovely for walking. The nearest beach to Morfa Ganol Farmhouse (less than one mile on foot) is the very secluded and pretty beach of Traeth Bach. Access to this beach is a very steep scramble down from the coast.
