With countryside views, vaulted ceilings with wood beams, the 5 beautiful bedrooms sit on the first floor. The Master Bedroom has an ensuite bath and shower room. The farmhouse garden is laid to lawn with mature trees, shrub gardens and a quaint original ty bach. There is a large patio with far-reaching views of rolling hills and meadows. Sitting approximately half a mile away too the Ceredigion Coastal Path which can be accessed by a minor lane & footpath. Llangrannog is the closest beach that has facilities (toilets, pubs/cafes, shower and seasonal lifeguards), approximately 1 mile away. Penbryn beach, approximately 2 miles away, is a long sandy beach which is lovely for walking. The nearest beach to Morfa Ganol Farmhouse (less than one mile on foot) is the very secluded and pretty beach of Traeth Bach. Access to this beach is a very steep scramble down from the coast.

The Tipis are situated on the owner’s 16-acre farmland, with sea views and beautiful meadows, forestry and waterfalls all on-site and within walking distance from the cottage – there are even pet lambs in the field. This is an ideal break away for a family or friends to enjoy this peaceful location, located just 2 miles from the fabulous quirky harbour towns of Aberaeron. Aberaeron retains its Georgian character with elegant brightly painted town houses and with a small harbour for yachts and fishing boats. Aberaeron is becoming something of a foodie pleasure. Stroll around the harbour along Quay Parade and enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the award-winning restaurants. The independent shops and craft centres are also a big hit amongst our guests. The town is right on the Wales Coast Path and The Coastal Way.
Ceredigion’s coast is also well-known for wildlife including the famous Cardigan Bay bottlenose dolphin pods, there are boat trips to explore the Ceredigion Marine Heritage Coast and the town features a Seafood Festival in July. From chilling out on the beach or enjoying a hearty harbour meal after a train ride Aberystwyth and Newquay which are a short drive offer traditional Welsh pubs, stylish restaurants and sandy beaches, where dolphins and porpoises are often spotted on a clear day. To the north are the famous slopes of Snowdon, offering breath-taking views with abundance of walks amidst the tumbling waterfalls, shimmering lakes with buzzards and peregrine falcons soaring high. The area is a natural playground for ramblers, mountain bikers and climbers alike.
The tipis consist of an open plan living/bedroom space with double bed, single sofa bed, a wood burning stove and externally there is a seating area with garden furniture and a fire pit. The kitchen is approximately 20 metres from the tipi with a fridge, freezer, sink, gas hob and microwave oven. The bathroom has a walk-in shower (wet room), again next to the kitchen area. Cwmporthman Farm Cwtch (UK34700) is a stunning, hand-crafted detached pod ideal for romantic breaks or a small family getaway. The open plan kitchen, dining, living and sleeping area is bright and airy with a high quality finish throughout. French doors lead onto a raised decking area complete with your very own private hot tub. This pet friendly property will allow pets off the lead whilst on the enclosed patio but need to be put on a lead when in the garden or surrounding areas due to the property being on a working farm. Access to the property is down a farm lane, which is unsuitable for low profile cars.

Just 6 miles from Aberystwyth, this popular university town offers some contemporary options for evenings out, perhaps try the popular SY23 restaurant for a unique dining experience of their unbelievable tasting menu, explore the many museums, archives and galleries revealing a depth of heritage to be discovered. To see where the earliest inhabitants of Aberystwyth lived, visit Pendinas hillfort, just to the south of today’s harbour. It overlooks the town and most of Cardigan Bay. Or why not just relax and enjoy the view at a table on Aberystwyth promenade, or dangle your feet over the sea wall as you enjoy a bit of street food or an ice cream as you watch the world go by. New Quay is where the poet Dylan Thomas lived during World War II, and visitors can follow the Dylan Thomas Trail around the town. Nearby New Quay Honey Farm is well worth a visit, as is the delightful and colourful harbour town of Aberaeron. Welcome to Y Bwthyn. Located in the beautiful Welsh seaside village of Llanrhystud, its stunning location makes it a very popular village. Y Bwthyn has been lovingly updated and modernised, maintaining much of the original features and is the perfect holiday cottage for couples looking for a seaside break.

Upon arrival, you are presented with an open plan kitchen and living room area providing a warm and cosy feel. The modern kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials, including a breakfast bar. Beyond the kitchen/living area to the back of the cottage is a small outside space with patio seating to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or a place to relax after a long day out. There is also a bike storage for those outdoor adventure types. Upstairs is a spacious double bedroom, decorated to a very good standard and is an ideal place to unwind. Llanrhystud lies on the Ceredigion Coast Path, part of the Wales Coast Path, which is 14 miles starting from Morfa Farm caravan park in Llanrhystud to New Quay, passing spectacular sea views along the way and centuries of history, heritage, and culture, for any walkers this is a must do; perhaps discover Aberaeron for the day, only seven miles away.
Whether you enjoy a stroll around a Georgian country estate, chilling out on the beach or a hearty harbour meal after a train ride, just 9 miles north is Aberystwyth. Aberystwyth’s town high street benefits from many shops, mainly independent boutique shops with some high street names mixed in, whilst the nearby retail outlets offer larger named and designer brands. Aberystwyth Arts Centre is worth a visit, as is its neighbour the National Library of Wales, home to historic books as well as the smallest book in the world, it also hosts painting and film exhibitions, and you can sit in comfort watching archive films from across Wales. Y Bwthyn is an incredibly comfortable holiday home in a fantastic scenic, coastal, and rural location.
