Pet-friendly Downhouse Cottage was extended in Victorian times, while Downhouse has a rustic feel with a clome oven in the fireplace and a large garden. Water is supplied from a borehole; the water is wonderful and is tested annually, so no need for bottled water.
    Both cottages benefit from a sitting-out area with stunning views of the coastline. Surrounded by countryside, they are perfect for walkers to enjoy the views from the South West Coastal Path. Ideally situated for visiting some of the many attractions of Cornwall, including Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur, Boscastle with its harbour and Port Isaac, made famous by the TV’s ‘Doc Martin’. From Liskeard train station you can take the lovely branch line which runs down to Looe through the wooded East Looe Valley.
