Enjoying uninterrupted views of the award-winning Mawgan Porth beach, this fantastic beach house is surrounded by a third of an acre of beautifully kept gardens with a large, sea facing, sun trap decking area, overlooking gently sloping lawns and a pretty stream that trickles down to the sea below. Solar panels help heat the house and water while providing free electrical car charging for our guests’ electric vehicle.

Over the past year (2022), the house has been renovated to the highest standards by one of the country’s leading interior designers and offers plenty of living space all benefitting from exceptional sea views and floor to ceiling sliding doors leading to a large decking area. The large circular fireplace makes for cosy evenings during the Autumn and Winter months. The brand-new handmade kitchen is well supplied with all creature comforts from a juicer to a selection of coffee machines, including a Nespresso. A door leads into a separate TV room with a big corner sofa, both with fabulous sea views and door to the terrace. Three ground floor bedrooms, ome with chandelier, two with those stunning views. A beautiful glass and oak staircase leads from the entrance hall up to the first floor where you will find three more bedrooms; a double bedroom with en-suite shower room; a large twin bedroom with large en-suite shower room, and one with a TV and sofa bed which enjoys the best views of all.

The beach is just a 5-minute walk away from the garden gate. Off the drive, there is a lawned area and to the side of the house a heated outdoor shower for when you return from the beach. The equipment store has a range of children’s wetsuits and storage for boards. Once cleaned off, you can luxuriate in the state-of-the-art Aspen and Spruce spa with a sauna, experiential shower plus cold water bucket for the brave. Situated mid-way between Padstow and Newquay, Mawgan Porth offers you a beautiful west facing beach, stunning scenery, wondrous walks, superb surfing, an amazing variety of restaurants to suit everyone’s taste and pocket, including a cosy pub, seafood restaurant, cafés, and takeaways all within walking distance of Blue Seas. Beach less than a 5 minute walk.

These pet friendly holiday barns are situated less than half a mile from the stunning north coast of Cornwall. The access is via a typical Cornish narrow road with beautiful scenic views of the sea peeping out through the hedgerow on approach.

In the heart of this small Cornish hamlet, the barns (refs 30108, 30109, 30110 and 30111) are furnished and fitted to provide a comfortable base from which to explore the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer.
Each barn has a well-equipped kitchen as well as open-plan living. Each has its own sitting-out area, which is ideal for watching the wildlife and al fresco dining. Each property also has access to electric car charging points which a charge for use however if you require using the charging points you must bring your own lead. This barn has the private use of a hot tub, but please note the first night the temperature may not of quite reached it’s optimal temperature due to the replenishment of fresh water post cleaning the tub.
There are no local amenities as it is in a hamlet, but only a 5 minute car journey to the local village; we suggest you look at the welcome folder in the cottage to familiarise yourself to your surroundings and to discover what amenities are local to your stay. Guests are close to the coastal path and if you walk north, you will reach Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur, with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants. A little further on, Boscastle with its picturesque harbour is a must. A small beach can be reached on foot, approximately ½ mile away. Travelling down the coast, guests will come to Port Isaac, where the TV series ’Doc Martin’ is filmed, and further down the coast, visit the beautiful sandy surfing beach at Polzeath and the dunes at Rock where you can take a ferry across to Padstow. From Padstow, with its working harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants, you can hire bikes and cycle the Camel Trail to Wadebridge and beyond to Bodmin.
Close by is Bodmin Moor, unspoilt moorland at its best, and for walkers the tors on the moor are a must. Further down the coast is Newquay, with its famous surfing beaches, Blue Reef Aquarium and Zoo and if you travel to the south coast, you will find Looe, Fowey and Mevagissey, just a few of the charming coastal villages. For cycling enthusiasts, there is a cycle hub at Lanhydrock, with some wonderful forest routes to be taken. Shop, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.

This delightful, reverse level holiday property is the perfect romantic getaway for couples looking for somewhere special all year round. Complete with a glass balcony with stunning views to the beach and St Michael’s Mount, it is peacefully located within easy walking distance to the historic town of Marazion, perfect for visiting art galleries, curiosity shops, tea rooms, local delicatessens, restaurants and pubs. The wide sweeping beach of Mounts Bay is overlooked by St Michael’s Mount perched high on its rocky island. This is open to the public and can be reached on foot by causeway at low tide, or by small ferry boat at high tide. Ideal for water sports enthusiasts with kite surfing, wind surfing and sailing on the doorstep. The beach is perfect for those who love to swim and relax on a glorious sandy beach. The cottage is equally appealing in the winter months, take a wind swept stroll along the glorious beach.
Marazion and Penzance are steeped in history, or take the scenic coastal train from nearby St Erth to St Ives, with its picturesque harbour, cafes, restaurants and The Tate Modern and Barbara Hepworth Museum. Visit the quaint harbour towns of Newlyn and Mousehole, and the romantic open air Minack Theatre is just a short drive away, built in to the cliff face overlooking the beautiful beach at Porthcurno, with stunning performances throughout the year. Surf at Sennen beach or walk along the glorious white sandy beach or cliff top to Lands End. Fishing is available locally, and the area is popular for bird watching with the marshes at Marazion and Hayle attracting bird and wildlife enthusiasts from around the world. Garden lovers can enjoy many sub-tropical gardens open to the public. Shop and pub ¼ mile.

Dog friendly, Brambles Cottage is an ideal base to explore this stunning area of Cornwall. Although attached to the owners house, you’re completely private. A garden summerhouse with 360 degree glass so you can have a sunny breakfast or sunset drink even if it’s cool or windy. Together with the hot tub this enables you to enjoy the outdoors to the full on your holiday. New for 2024 is a high quality kitchen with all appliances and granite worktops.
There is a huge amount to do on the Lizard, from exploring the little fishing villages, Porthallow, Cadgwith or Coverack and sampling the local wealth of pubs and restaurants. Glorious clifftop walks, such as The Lizard itself, stunning sandy beaches like Coverack, Kennack Sands, Kynance Cove (which should be experienced), Poldhu or Loe Bar, which stretches from Gunwalloe all the way to Porthleven, tourist locations like Flambards, Poldark Mine or Goonhilly. The Helford River is beautiful and is surrounded by five little creeks, the most famous being Frenchman’s Creek, the eponymous title by Daphne Du Maurier based on the love affair between an impulsive English lady and a French pirate.
There are some breath-taking coastal walks, which really should include a trip around the Lizard Lighthouse, Britain’s most southerly point, on a clear, windy day there cannot be many more dramatic places in the country, the Lizard point is famous for shipwrecks and from May to October the Cornish coast is carpeted with a variety of colourful wildflowers. At the heart of the Lizard stands a 13th-century church, famous for its ornate woodwork decorating the end of each pew and depicting scenes from the Old and New Testament. Kynance Cove is a tidal beach for the adventurous, famous for its white sand, turquoise sea and rock stacks. Poldhu Cove, also known as Black Pool Cove, is a lovely west-facing sandy beach suitable for lots of fun activities, from building sandcastles to beach volleyball and rocks to explore at low tide and great for swimming, surfing and windsurfing. This delightful former corn mill is set amongst lush Cornish countryside near the village of Egloskerry. Dating back to the 15th century, this historic mill was last working up until the 1960’s. It has been sympathetically renovated to maintain the charm and character with added modern comforts. This stunning, detached cob and stone walled mill is arranged over two floors in a topsy-turvy style to capture and enjoy the natural beauty of the abundant surrounding farmland.

The interior is graced with charming features with its exposed original beams and acts as a great hub for exploring the wonderful rural and coastal locations nearby. It is a lovely spot for a family, or groups of couples and friends. The homely living room offers plenty of comfortable seating, along with a Smart TV and a cosy wood burner, creating a lovely spot to put your feet up and relax. The property has full fibre superfast broadband Wi-Fi. There is also access to the garden where you can enjoy uninterrupted views over the tranquil countryside and surrounding grazing fields. The spacious kitchen is very well-appointed, with all the necessary appliances to cook up a scrumptious meal. There are three bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed, one with a double bed and one with a kingsize zip and link bed which can be 2ft 6in twin beds on request. All rooms have been decorated to a loving standard to create a peaceful spot to get your much-needed rest. There are also two shower rooms, one on the ground floor and the other on the first floor.

Just 5 miles away lies the charming town of Launceston, which has a wealth of amenities, as well as Launceston Castle and the fascinating Lawrence House Museum. This sublime location offers fine access to dreamy countryside in the Tamar Valley, Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor National Park, as well as the breathtaking North Cornwall coastline. This really is a splendid cottage to enjoy a Cornish holiday.

This large and spacious detached house is right in the middle of Cornwall and only 7 miles from each coast. It is the perfect spot for families to reunite and enjoy this stunning county. The village sits only two minutes from the A30, making it a great touring base - you really can go anywhere from here very easily. This house is brimming with history, not only because of its name ‘Littlewood’, so named as it was built by the very first winners of the Littlewoods football pools. During the 60s and 70s, the house was a secret retreat for celebrities and pop and rock stars to hide away from the glare of the media, and to get together, play some music and party. The house has had many guests including Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Marsha Hunt and The Small Faces. St Columb Road, with its branch line station sits on the Newquay to Par train line, meaning you can stroll down the road and catch a train to Newquay on the north coast or to Par on the south coast, where you can connect with the mainline train and tour Cornwall without the need to drive.
Newquay Airport is a mere 3 miles away with links to the Scilly Isles, London Gatwick and many more UK airports, which means that you could fly down making your stay a car-free trip. Newquay, with its 11 beaches and vibrant surf culture including many excellent schools and hire shops, is a great place to unwind on the sandy beaches, walk along the dramatic coast path or simply relax in a beachside bar or restaurant. The town has a zoo and working harbour where you can take a sea fishing trip to catch supper for the barbecue back at the house.
Padstow, home to Rick Stein’s foodie empire including a cookery school and seafood restaurant, is a must. The town, with its narrow cobbled streets that gravitate towards the pretty working harbour, is a delight, a jewel on this stunning coast. Walk the streets, enjoy a pint or enjoy a pasty, try a cream tea (jam first) or hire bikes at one of the many cycle hire shops. Cycle on the Camel Trail, a flat multi-use trail that clings to the shoreline of the Camel River as it flows inland towards the market town of Wadebridge, and eventually Bodmin and Bodmin Moor. You could also cycle through the village and up onto Goss Moor, following the heritage cycle route. After taking in the ancient moors and clay works, why not stop off and enjoy a treat on your return at the village’s acclaimed fish and chip shop?
The south coast, 7 miles, with its more forgiving temperate climate, is easily reached, and a whole new world opens up in Charlestown, a World Heritage Site and home to sailing ships. The town is regularly used as a television and film set, most recently for Poldark and Taboo and many Hollywood films. The village is full of great local pubs, art shops and galleries, and has its own spectacular beach and harbour.
Truro, Fowey, Mevagissey, St Austell and The Roseland Peninsula are all easily reached too and all worth a day out. St Ives, Lostwithiel, Falmouth and Penzance are all easily reached either by car or by train, making Littlewood the perfect spot to enjoy this amazing county. Horse riding, surfing, golf, cycling, a spa, shopping and go-karting are all available nearby. Beach 6 miles. Shop 100 yards, pub 1½miles and restaurant ½ mile.
