These two bright, well-fitted, semi-detached holiday cottages (refs 26912 and 26913) are set in the beautiful rolling North Cornwall countryside on the owner’s sheep and beef farm. Each cottage has been thoughtfully furnished and has a sitting-out area with a barbecue which is ideal for enjoying the beautiful views and peace and quiet.
Just a short drive from some of North Cornwall’s picturesque harbour villages including Padstow with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants, from where you can walk or cycle the Camel Trail, Port Isaac - made famous by the TV series Doc Martin, Boscastle and Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur. Further down the coast is Watergate Bay, home to a long sandy beach. Newquay offers a number of sandy surfing beaches including Fistral, plus a zoo and sea life centre.
The cottages are also close to the ‘Seven Sandy Bays’ of St Merryn which are ideal for family days on the beach, and Crealy Adventure Park. Within easy driving distance are the Eden Project and some of the many beautiful gardens that Cornwall has to offer. Shop and restaurant 3 miles, pub 2 miles.

Approached by a winding farm track, Robin’s Nest is one of a row of converted, traditional granite barns at Kerrow Farm. Surrounded by open fields, this single-storey barn has far reaching views of the Atlantic Ocean towards Sennen Cove and Land’s End. The enclosed lawned garden leads to guests’ own ½-acre meadow (great for picnics and kite flying). Chapel Carn Brea (the NT first and last hill in England) forms a backdrop to Robin’s Nest, and a 20-minute walk along the public footpath in front of Kerrow Farmhouse leads to the summit, from which there are 360-degree panoramic views, from the Brisons (off Cape Cornwall) past Land’s End and the Longships Lighthouse, and round to Mounts Bay. Being in a peaceful, rural location, away from the main road, Robin’s Nest is ideal for children who can play while Mum and Dad prepare a meal, or take a well earned rest. Sennen Cove and the spectacular sandy surfing beaches of Whitesand Bay and Gwynver are just 2 miles away, while the famous Minack open air theatre and the fishing village of Mousehole are a short drive. Situated in a lovely rural valley and surrounded by open countryside, this pair of delightful holiday cottages enjoy wonderful views over to the sea at Mawgan Porth. Away from farm traffic, on a small organic working cattle and sheep farm, enjoy watching the young farm animals, or feel free to walk the nature trail set in 15 acres of woodland valley, which is home to a variety of wildlife. Mawgan Porth, 2 miles, has a wonderful sandy beach and an 18-hole golf course. Both the resorts of Newquay and picturesque Padstow are within an 8-mile radius. The Eden Project is also within easy reach and Watergate Bay, is only 3 miles away. The idyllic village of St Mawgan, 1 mile, has interesting antique and craft shops, a pub and post office with tearoom and a Bonsai nursery.

This spacious detached end of road holiday property provides breathtaking views across the mile long south west facing golden sands of Praa Sands and out to Mount Bay. The large flat patio area is ideal for relaxing after an enjoyable day. Up a steep slope, the smaller upper patio has further breathtaking views. Access to the beautiful sandy beach with surf school and summer lifeguard patrol, and the scenic coastal pathway is down a small path a few yards away. This is truly a wonderful location for a great family holiday whatever the time of year. From this central location a short drive will take you to the golf course, Flambards at Helston, sailing at Newlyn and restaurants in Porthleven. Cornwall’s oldest charter town of Marazion overlooks the 12th century St Michael’s Mount (NT) accessed by a romantic causeway walk at low tide. Travelling on further south one will enter another world, the beautiful Lizard Peninsula. Almost untouched, it is flush with rare wild flowers, unspoilt fishing villages and sheltered beaches. It is home to the massive serpentine stacks of Kynance Cove and caves at low tide and the secret location of the real Frenchman’s Creek. The Lizard village offers craft shops, art galleries, cafes and inns clustered around the village green. A walk to the lighthouse, lifeboat station and mainland Britain’s most southerly point is a must. Also close by is the ancient coinage town of Helston famous for its Furry Dance held in May each year. Shops and pub ¼ mile.

This fabulous newly built house is situated above St Just Creek. A short stroll down to the beautiful church of St Just in Roseland and its tranquil creek. A 5-minute drive takes you to the centre of St Mawes with its good range of facilities. The famous King Harry Ferry is only a 10-minute drive and gives easy access to Truro, Falmouth and the Lizard Peninsula.
The front door leads into a spacious hall where you can access the superb open plan kitchen/dining/living room set at the rear of the property. A utility room also has fitted appliances along with a tall fridge/freezer. Double doors open out to the large terrace looking over the garden along with country and creek views. The exterior to the property starts with a superb raised patio and seating area perfect for a barbecue or to relax with a glass of wine. Steps down to several paved areas that you can also sit throughout the day, the flower beds and shrubs gives the gardens colour and privacy. A stone’s throw away from Sea Home is the mile long sandy beach patrolled daily by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution Coastguard. Access to The Southwest Coastal Path is also less than a minute away providing excellent walking opportunities to the iconic harbour of Porthleven to the east and to Prussia Cove and St Michael’s Mount to the west.

Located just ¾ mile from Widemouth Bay, one of the most spectacular stretches of coastline in north Cornwall, there is something here to suit guests of all ages. You could even book both of the properties together for extended family or friends.
The larger cottage, Goose Cottage is a charming barn conversion and boast lovely views of the surrounding rural landscape. With spacious open plan living space, it is ideal for enjoyable gatherings of families or friends. Barn Cottage offers a first floor living room, complete with doors which open onto a small decked balcony where guests can admire the magnificent views across rolling fields and out to the sea. Both properties enjoy shared access to the range of facilities found on-site, including a tennis court and a children’s outdoor play area with slides, swings and a climbing wall. Why not take a dip in the heated outdoor swimming pool, or challenge friends and family to the variety of games found in the small indoor games barn including table tennis, air hockey and a small pool table. Widemouth Bay is an extremely popular holiday destination and is world famous for surfing. It has far reaching, exceptional sandy beaches, and provides miles of coastal paths for enthusiastic walkers. The well loved tourist town of Bude is just 3 miles further up the coast. The town offers an indoor swimming pool, shops, restaurants, horse riding, a golf course and tenpin bowling. For the keen walker there are many opportunities both along the south west coastal path route, which runs the entire coastline of Cornwall and offers stunning cliff walks, and on nearby Bodmin Moor. Polean Farm Cottages are located in Cornwall, down green lanes, off the Looe to Polperro road, just outside the village of Pelynt. The farm is set amongst rolling farmland and is less than 2 miles from the sea. All of the cottages are full of character and provide a cosy home-from-home. They have all been converted from original farm buildings which date back to the 18th century.
The Old Farmhouse (ref UK12895) is a historical, semi-detached farmhouse which has been tastefully renovated and is perfect for a large family get together or for two families to holiday together.
Little Owls Cottage (ref UK12896) is a detached barn named after the owls that still live in the nesting boxes around the building which can sometimes be heard at night. It is set in its own garden with glorious views across the farm and towards the village of Pelynt.
Rosebud Cottage (ref UK12897) and Shires Rest (ref UK12899) are pleasant, beamed cottages with lovely countryside views. Before being converted, both cottages were used to store hay in the winter and you can still see many of the original features.
Threpney Cottage (ref UK12898) is an imaginatively converted ’roundhouse’ and is full of character. The cottage was named after the old twelve sided three penny piece due to its shape.
Twinkles Cottage (ref UK12900) is a charming and spacious ‘upside down’, beamed cottage, with great views across the farm and surrounding countryside.
Waggoners Cottage (ref UK12901) is a delightful single-storey cottage, with its own garden and views of the front fields and the children’s play area at the rear. The cottage was named after the wagons that used to be stored in it and you can still see many of the original features of the barn.
The Mealhouse (ref UK12902) was originally used to store the feed or ‘meal’ for the pigs that resided in the pig sty which can still be seen across from it. The Mealhouse is detached and set slightly apart from the other cottages, offering uninterrupted views across the farm.
Polean Farm provides the perfect destination for a family holiday. The farm offers animal feeding each week day morning, where you may help bottle feed lambs (seasonal) and hand feed pigmy goats and chickens, as well as enjoy pony or tractor rides! The farm is also a working livery yard and children and parents often enjoy visiting the horses and ponies each day.
Guests have free use of an indoor heated swimming pool just a few minutes’ drive away. It’s perfect for families and children who want to splash around or those wanting to put in a few lengths and keep fit. Guests are also welcome to make free use of the nightly entertainment at the same local holiday complex which is just a few minutes’ drive from the farm. The entertainment is on every night and includes children’s entertainment, followed by grown up entertainment with top musicians, performers and comedians regularly appearing throughout the season. Children are allowed in the venue for the whole evening. Please note, the pool is not available during August due to overcrowding, and entertainment is not available November-March (except during school holidays).
