This spacious, end-terraced barn conversion is set around a courtyard in a little cluster of holiday properties. Hidden away in a quiet rural location, the property is nestled within the delightful Ruthern Valley, midway between Bodmin and Wadebridge and the North and South Cornwall coast. This lovely property is perfect for families or friends, at any time of the year. The living room is spacious and light, with comfortable furnishings, a retro Atari games console and a big open fire for cosy autumn and winter breaks in the countryside. Dogs are welcome at Rosemary Cottage, and the rear garden has a large decking area with a sloping lawn but is fully enclosed making it ideal for your family pooches. The garden also includes a box of beach items such as body boards, buckets, spades and beach toys for guests to use.
The property is ideally located within easy reach of the delights of Cornwall. Nearby is Withiel Church, often used as a backdrop in the German TV series of Rosamunde Pilcher’s novels. To the north-west, Padstow is home to an array of shops, pubs, restaurants and a popular cycle trail. Fans of Doc Martin will be drawn to the beautiful Port Isaac, which is where the TV series was filmed. The villages of Rock and Polzeath are also well worth a visit, and further down the coast is Newquay with its fantastic beaches and surfing opportunities. An afternoon spent exploring Cardinham Woods or the family friendly Old Hill Bike Park are a must for cyclists while Bodmin Moor offers some fantastic walking routes. The fabulous National Trust property Lanhydrock House is just a short drive away and the Eden Project is only a 25-minute drive away. Beach 14 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
