Pendeen, EnglandTreplevna is a tranquil, cosy and restful, traditional Cornish cottage complete with an inglenook fireplace, wood burner, sea views, a private, south-facing garden and conservatory, coast path access and parking. The first generous basket of logs, welcome goodies, toiletries and bedding and towels are all included. The cottage is perfect for walkers, dog lovers and families with young children. Blackout blinds and children’s utensils are available, and a travel cot and highchair can be provided on request. The kitchen has a microwave, integrated washer/dryer, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine, with eco-friendly products included. Two sandy beaches can be found within a 30-minute walk and the highlights of West Cornwall are all within a short drive, including St Ives, Sennen, Mousehole, Newlyn, Penzance, St Michael’s Mount and the Minack Theatre. The village has the Levant and Geevor tin mines, Pendeen lighthouse, a fish and chip shop, pubs and a store selling fresh bread, eggs, fruit and veg, and logs within walking distance.
St Just with its independent shops, galleries and cafés is 10 minutes away. There is a bus stop at the end of the lane with a regular service linking St Ives, Penzance and St Just. The 7 mile coastal road between the cottage and St Ives is one of the most scenic in the UK, excellent for cycling or driving and passes the traditional village of Zennor with its famous ice cream parlour and world class climbing at Bosigran. Pendeen, EnglandThis charming, detached Cornish cottage overlooks magnificent coastline with Pendeen lighthouse in the distance. The ground floor of the cottage has an open plan living space and a family bathroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with twin beds. Set on an ancient site, in a peaceful hamlet designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, the adjacent area was granted World Heritage status in 2006.

Situated on the south tip of the north west coast of Cornwall, not far from Land’s End, there are many, many places to visit. Lanhydrock House, now owned by the National Trust, is a magnificent example of a period country house which is well worth a visit as are its stunning well-tended gardens.
Mousehole on the south coast is a pretty harbourside village and fishing port and should not be missed.
Marazion is a little further east and gives access to St Michael’s Mount, about ½ mile across a tidal causeway. It is a fascinating island and worthy of visit.

Liskeard, EnglandSet in the gently undulating foothills of Bodmin Moor, Rosecraddoc Manor boasts a history that dates back to the Domesday Book. Rebuilt in the 1820s it is Grade II listed, together with the two bridges in the grounds – one of which forms part of the entrance drive. The manor house and coach house have been converted into apartments, all furnished and equipped to a very high standard, with many luxurious touches that will appeal to the most discerning of visitors. Access to the front door of the Manor is by three stone steps. Some of the accommodation features four poster beds, some offer spa baths and some offer saunas.
Heron is a first floor studio-style apartment, whilst Riverview and Riverbank enjoy a secluded position on the banks of the small cascading river, with pretty aspects across the river and parkland towards the lake – these two cottages include special features to make them suitable for wheelchair users.
Lakeview stands about 75 yards from the manor, in an enviable position overlooking the fishing lake, and enjoys particularly beautiful views from its first floor living room and large balcony.
Rosecraddoc Manor is surrounded by 35 acres of natural gardens and bluebell woods that beckon to you to stroll along its footpaths. The lake is well stocked for coarse fishing, with carp, roach and bream, and the all weather tennis court can be enjoyed April – October. There are several pubs locally.

Lostwithiel, EnglandA welcoming Cornish cream tea awaits guests at this 100-year-old cottage that sits in a quiet and quaint lane minutes from the centre of the ancient town of Lostwithiel, which lies at the bottom of a wooded valley. The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and numerous National Trust properties and gardens are also close by and provide lovely days out in this special area of Cornwall. Lanhydrock House, a National Trust stately home and estate is nearby and boasts off road walking and cycle trail through lush woodland, bike hire and a café are available. Some of the cottages are suitable for guests with disabilities (CV44 is designed for the convenience of visitors with disabilities, as well as able-bodied visitors), and ref B6859 boasts an American fridge/freezer. Access to the front door of the manor is by 3 stone steps. The apartments are refs CV14, CV20, CV11 and B4866 which are all on the first floor and ref CV12 is a ground floor apartment. Whichever you choose you will find it immaculately clean, with freshly laundered linen and tea towels. Please bring your own towels. Cot linen is not supplied.
