The property is just a short drive to Sennen Cove with its wide sandy beach and surfing haven. The Minack open air theatre is a must see with the ocean as a backdrop and views over Porthcurno beach. A number of quaint villages and harbours can be found at Mousehole and Newlyn, and the sea faring town of Penzance is close by.
The area is popular for walking, windsurfing, surfing, swimming, cycling, pony trekking and golf, with Cape Cornwall golf course just a mile down the lane. The area attracts artists throughout the year and offers a number of wonderful local galleries and studios to peruse. Beach 4½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

St Just has a lively square with some wonderful individual shops including supermarket, butchers, bakers, greengrocers and an array of individual art galleries and small craft shops. If you don’t want to cook, there are some lovely tea rooms and local pubs serving great local ales and food.
This is the ideal location for exploring this wonderful part of Cornwall with its mining heritage, most recently a back drop for the TV series ‘Poldark’. Visit the lovely Cot Valley in Cape Cornwall, with its rolling landscape, rugged coastline and access to miles of scenic coastal paths. Cape Cornwall Golf club is open to non- members and makes for a great day out for enthusiasts.

Take a short drive to Lands’ End or the beautiful white sandy beach and harbour at Sennen Cove, a popular spot with surfers and those who love the beach. Take the scenic coastal drive from Pendeen to St Ives across stunning moorland, passing the small village of Zennor with its tales of mermaids, an ancient church and a charming local pub.

Be sure to visit the Minack open air theatre, built directly into the cliff face with the ocean as a backdrop. A short drive to Penzance or the historic town of Marazion are great options also, where you can pop over to the small island of St Michaels Mount. Alternatively take a day trip to the beautiful Isles of Scilly by air from nearby Lands’ End Airport, or via the small walk-on ferry from Penzance. Beach 3¾ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

The apartment itself is ground floor, but the views from inside are truly outstanding. There is an open plan living-dining room and kitchen, all with those unbelievable views. There are also two ample and tastefully decorated bedrooms and a family bathroom. The apartment has its own dedicated parking space.
The majestic vista from Mor View of giant Atlantic rollers crashing onto the Brisons, two rock islands about a mile out to sea, can be totally hypnotic. Gaze past the spray and in the distance are the Scilly Islands, some 28 miles off lands end. At night Wolf Rock lighthouse and the loom of Bishops Rock off the Scillies reassure mariners of their course. Mor View has the most dramatic section of the South West coastal path on its doorstep. It is an easy drive to the ancient town of Penzance and the artists favourite of St. Ives, spiritual St. Michael’s Mount or, of course, the wealth of beautiful sandy beaches, coves and headlands. Cape Cornwall Golf Club is 50m away which has an 18-hole golf course.
Cape Cornwall, England’s only Cape, rears 229 feet out of the Atlantic and offers spectacular views over the Western Approaches and Land’s End. The National Trust acquired the Cape in 1987 to protect the area and its rare flora and fauna. Ornithologists can spot Cornish choughs, peregrine falcons, sparrow hawks and many other sea birds. Sheltered Priest’s Cove, with its rocky beach and sea pool, is within 5 minutes walking distance and is still used by local fishermen. Beach 5⅓ miles.

Stone Farm Cottage is a beautifully presented granite cottage with rolling rural views derelict tin mine engine houses dot the landscape and there are magnificent sea views from the top of the garden. A small stream trickles through the garden and there is access to a shared (with the owners) covered swimming pool which is heated and available from the beginning of June until the beginning of September.
Inside is a stylishly decorated, open plan living space with doors leading to the garden, original beams, and a cosy wood burner to warm you up after a day exploring the dramatic coastal scenery or checking out the surf. The well-equipped kitchen area is a joy to cook in, why not take you holiday feast outside and dine al fresco or fire up the BBQ on a beautiful summer evening. To one side of the living space is the master bedroom with kingsize bed and en-suite wet room. At the other end is the utility room and family bathroom, leading through to the twin bedroom with plenty of built in storage.
Bojewyan is a small settlement to the east of Pendeen which is famous for its industrial heritage. Pendeen village has a general store and Post office and there are four local pubs serving food. Three of these, as well as a takeaway fish and chip shop and a Spanish tapas restaurant, are all within a 2-minute drive or a 10-minute walk from the property.
The St Just area has a rich mining history and has now been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is also in one of the twelve Cornish Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Pendeen Lighthouse and the secluded Portheras Cove and beach are a mile to the north. The coastline in this part of Cornwall is simply outstanding and the road from St Ives to St Just is possibly the most scenic drive in the county. Beach 1¾ miles.

Welcome to Hafod, a beautiful Victorian house with panoramic sea views and within walking distance to the town of St Just, the nearest village to Land’s End. You don’t need to go far as you have a variety of shops including a supermarket, a gallery, tea rooms and cafés, plus three pubs, as well as a free public car park in the village. You can leave the car and catch the local buses; you may find this easier in peak summer as you won’t have to worry about parking!
The property has stunning sea views at the front of the property, and at the rear is a private courtyard which leads to the parking area. On the first floor are three bedrooms and the family bathroom with rainfall shower, whilst downstairs the living room again has a cosy wood burner and also boasts sea views. The large dining area leads to a well-equipped modern kitchen with access to the private garden. For those not wanting to eat out, you will find everything you need to rustle up a homely meal - you just need to decide if you want to eat al fresco or sit around the large table.
This is an ideal location to explore the rugged coastline of Cape Cornwall. The coastal paths and walks have remnants of the tin mining that was produced in the area. Geever Tin Mine in Pendeen is 2¾ miles away, well worth a visit, and is surrounded by fantastic scenery and coastal walks. Whilst you are here you can also visit the Pendeen Lighthouse. Just over 6 miles away is Land’s End, which is a brilliant day out for all ages. It’s the most westerly point of the UK and home to the famous signpost, John O’ Groats to Land’s End. Dogs on leads are welcome here, but not allowed in the indoor attractions. Five miles away is Sennen Cove, popular with families as the beach has a gentle slope and rock pools as well as being the most westerly point for surfers. It has a seasonal dog ban, but around the corner is Gwynver Beach which is dog friendly and much quieter. Just over 8 miles away is the stunning beach of Porthcurno, with turquoise water and white sand surrounded by cliffs making this one of the most beautiful beaches. Suitable for surfers and experienced swimmers only, due to the steep shelving, and not suitable for people with mobility issues since the trek down to the beach is accessed along a coastal path which is steep. If you are a fan of the TV series ‘Poldark’ you will be familiar with the landscapes, as there is a lot of history in the area including folk tales of witches at Kenidjack and piskies leading mortals astray. There is so much to do walking, surfing, cycling, water sports and pony trekking, if you play golf bring your clubs and have a game Cape Cornwall golf course a mile down the lane. Artists are drawn to the area throughout the year, and you will find local galleries and studios in the area. Whatever you choose to do, come back to Haford and either curl up in front of the wood burner or sit outside watching the amazing skies while you plan your adventures for the next day. Beautiful views along the Cornish coast greet visitors to this single-storey, light and spacious property. The property features a split level, open plan living and dining area, each with bi-fold doors opening out onto patio areas, affording stunning sea views, with gardens front and back. Dog friendly, this is the perfect place from which to explore this unique part of Cornwall.
The house is tastefully furnished and comfortable all year round with a wood burner and central heating. Standing on the headland above the picturesque village of Port Gaverne, the house is a few steps from the north Cornwall coastal path. The beach at Port Gaverne is a 6-7 minute walk away and a little further is Port Isaac, with its huddle of slate houses and narrow alleyways.
The state-of-the-art kitchen is great for catering and cooking the fresh local produce. There are two excellent fish shops in Port Isaac that sell their daily catch of fish and shellfish; specialities are crab and lobster.
Local lamb, beef and pork are all available at the nearby farm shop, which has wonderful views overlooking the sea.
Famous now as the setting for the TV series ’Doc Martin’, Port Isaac is a working fishing village with shops, bars and several top-quality restaurants.
This area is now renowned as a ’foodie paradise’, with several celebrity chefs located here and the area is very well served by a whole variety of dining places to fit every pocket.
Close by is a hotel and next door is a bistro, which has indoor and outdoor dining. There are two Michelin starred restaurants in Port Isaac run by Nathan Outlaw. Nearby in Padstow is Paul Ainsworth’s Michelin starred restaurant and he has a great pub too. Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant and Cookery School are in Padstow. Rick Stein also has a number of other restaurants with varying price ranges.
This is an ideal spot for those who enjoy coastal walks, bird watching, golf, fishing, surfing, sailing, kayaking, cycling or just lazing on the beach. Polzeath’s famous surf attracts all comers, and its glorious sandy beach is just a short drive away. The cliffs, caves and rock pools are a children’s paradise.
Within an easy drive are Padstow, Tintagel, Boscastle, Bude and Wadebridge.
Wadebridge hosts one end of the Camel Trail, with a 5-mile dedicated cycle ride to Padstow on the old railway track, alongside the picturesque Camel Estuary. To the north stands Tintagel’s medieval castle and the quaint fishing village of Boscastle, with Crackington Haven and Bude a little further on. Inland lies Jamaica Inn and Bodmin Moor, the setting for the ’Poldark’ stories.
A few minutes’ walk away is a water sports centre, Cornish Rock Tors, based on the beach at Port Gaverne. They offer kayaking, paddle boarding and coasteering for individuals and groups. Polzeath’s famous surf attracts all comers, and its glorious sandy beach is just a short drive away. Water sports can be enjoyed at Rock, from where a passenger ferry crosses the Camel Estuary to the town of Padstow. Daymer Bay has another glorious sandy beach, and the golf course at St Enodoc is open to the public. John Betjeman, the late Poet Laureate, is buried at St Enodoc Church, with its twisted spire.

Mews Cottage is a beautifully presented two-bedroom, semi-detached holiday home set in the heart of Tintagel on the Northern Cornish coast. It is an original Cornish stone and slate dwelling. Whilst being within a few seconds walk on a private walk way to the hustle and bustle of Tintagel Village, you can still enjoy the peaceful serenity that Mews Cottage offers being in a small secluded area from the village. Mews has a free parking permit available which is provided by the owners.
The historical cottage, built around the 1890’s and was a former stables for a local Inn, feels bright and stylish whilst maintaining the rustic feel of the property. After an action-packed day exploring the coast, enter into the kitchen/dining area where you will find everything you need to enjoy a self-catered break. Head into the spacious lounge where you can unwind on the comfortable seating, watch a film on the smart TV whilst enjoying the glows of the electric wood burner in the background. This warm and light room has double doors which lead into the enclosed courtyard area which can create a fresh and airy feel throughout the entire day. Perfect for enjoying the warm Cornish evenings or a morning coffee. An absolute sun trap. Upstairs are two cosy bedrooms, wonderfully presented with high apexed ceilings displaying exposed wooden beams. The master bedroom offers a kingsize bed and next door is the light and airy twin bedroom. A shower room with heated towel rail completes the picture. Enjoy the fantasitic span of the countryside and a distant sea view.
Mews Cottage is just a few steps from the main street, with a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and Tintagel Castle, the mythical home of King Arthur. There is also a good bus serivce in Tintagel so you have the option of leaving the car. The coast is within a 10-minute walk and the nearest beach at Bossiney Cove is just 1.3 miles away or a 25-minute walk across the fields. Within easy reach are the coastal villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac, the latter made famous by the TV series, ’Doc Martin’. Further along the coast are the golden, sandy beaches of Rock and Polzeath. Plenty of walking and local paths perfect for the family, and prime dog walking places on the doorstep of Mews Cottage. Trebarwith Strand a 10 minutes drive is a perfect beach for this, dog friendly all year round, but is also accessable via the coastal path past St Materiana’s church. Enjoying uninterrupted views of the award-winning Mawgan Porth beach, this fantastic beach house is surrounded by a third of an acre of beautifully kept gardens with a large, sea facing, sun trap decking area, overlooking gently sloping lawns and a pretty stream that trickles down to the sea below. Over the past year (2022), the house has been renovated to the highest standards by one of the country’s leading interior designers and offers plenty of living space all benefitting from exceptional sea views and floor to ceiling sliding doors leading to a large decking area. The large circular fireplace makes for cosy evenings during the Autumn and Winter months. The brand-new handmade kitchen is well supplied with all creature comforts from a juicer to a selection of coffee machines, including a Nespresso. A door leads into a separate TV room with a big corner sofa, both with fabulous sea views and door to the terrace. Three ground floor bedrooms, ome with chandelier, two with those stunning views. A beautiful glass and oak staircase leads from the entrance hall up to the first floor where you will find three more bedrooms; a double bedroom with en-suite shower room; a large twin bedroom with large en-suite shower room, and one with a TV and sofa bed which enjoys the best views of all.

The beach is just a 5-minute walk away from the garden gate. Off the drive, there is a lawned area and to the side of the house a heated outdoor shower for when you return from the beach. The equipment store has a range of children’s wetsuits and storage for boards. Once cleaned off, you can luxuriate in the state-of-the-art Aspen and Spruce spa with a sauna, experiential shower plus cold water bucket for the brave. Situated mid-way between Padstow and Newquay, Mawgan Porth offers you a beautiful west facing beach, stunning scenery, wondrous walks, superb surfing, an amazing variety of restaurants to suit everyone’s taste and pocket, including a cosy pub, seafood restaurant, cafés, and takeaways all within walking distance of Blue Seas. Beach less than a 5 minute walk.
