Cosmopolitan Poulton-Le-Fylde is around a 20-minute drive and offers a delightful blend of traditional architecture, local shops, and inviting cafes. Here you can wander its cobbled streets and explore the vibrant market square, where you’ll find a range of goods, from fresh produce to unique crafts. The razzamatazz, glitz and glamour of Blackpool can be reached in around half an hour or the southern Lake District National Park in around an hour. Take a ride on La’al Ratty, a narrow-gauge steam railway from Dalegarth to Boot, or you can enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding and gyhll scrambling with West Lakes Adventure.
