The Patch near Gwbert is a small sandy beach on the Teifi Estuary with a Site of Special Scientific Interest (flora) nearby. For seafarers, bird and marine life lovers boat trips leave from the pontoon on the beach (in season).

If you fancy adventuring out, there are a number of beaches only a short drive away, including Penbryn, Tresaith, Mwnt, Llangranog and Poppit Sands. Staying local, you’ll have a selection of amenities, including a choice of takeaways, a shop, and dog friendly café and pub within walking distance. Craigfryn is situated on the owner’s land, with 6 lakes available for coarse and fly fishing – equipment for all fishing needs can be hired on-site. Located in a lovely hamlet just over 4 miles from the fabulous harbour town of Aberaeron, a Georgian jewel with elegant colour washed houses surrounding the harbour - reputedly planned and designed by John Nash.
