Crackington Haven, EnglandMadison is a lovely Swedish designed, detached holiday property situated not far from the beach and benefiting from being just under 8 miles from the popular seaside town of Bude. The property can comfortably accommodate eight guests with all rooms on one level.
There are three bedrooms; one with a super kingsize bed, Smart TV and a lovely en-suite with a multi spray unit, double walk-in shower plus a bath and the other two both being twins (one with a handy sink in it). There’s also a family shower room, again with double walk-in shower. Honeysuckle Cottage (CWC566741) has been converted from a 400 year old cart house. Inside you will find a bright and spacious open plan living area that welcomes you in, while both bedrooms are tastefully decorated and enhance the ambience. The property has been updated with a larger main bedroom with kingsize bed and a new bathroom with walk in shower. There are French doors that lead out onto a secluded patio garden, a perfect spot to soak up the Cornish air and sunshine, read a book or enjoy your favourite tipple. Mowhay Cottage (CWC566799) is beautifully presented, with vaulted ceilings, a heated tiled floor, a cosy wood burner, exposed beams and many other character features. Located a few miles inland from Crackington Haven which has pebbles and rock pools at the top of the beach but as the tide goes out a vast expanse of golden sand is exposed with some of the best surf on the north coast.
To the north is Widemouth bay and the bustling tourist town of Bude while to the west is the stunning and infamous village Boscastle, nestled in a steep valley where the river has cut a course through the steep cliffs to the sea. There are secluded coves, majestic views, wildlife and even a blowhole.
