They are situated in an elevated position on the edge of Broadlay near Ferryside on the old pilgrim road to St David’s Cathedral.

    There is generous amenity space, dog walking paths and a country adventure play area for small, accompanied children. The complex is on the local bus route which connects to Carmarthen via the hotel and Ferryside railway station. In the opposite direction, Kidwelly and Swansea are en route. Ferryside is uncommercialised, peaceful and quiet; the ideal getaway for a perfect weekend (or longer) break. It is also, due to its proximity to Carmarthen, Llanelli and other centres, an ideal corporate meeting place. Kidwelly, with its Norman castle, industrial heritage museum, Pembrey Country Park and Motorsport Centre, within approximately 10 minutes’ travelling time.

    The National Botanical Gardens, Laugharne (famous for Dylan Thomas’ Boathouse) and many Pembrokeshire attractions are about half an hour’s drive. There are many places to visit including Dylan Thomas’ cottage, where he spent the last years of his life. The Millennium Coastal Cycle Path, part of the national cycle path network, meanders through approximately 20 miles of local coastline, passing through local areas of interest. Places to visit include Kidwelly Castle, the Penclawydd Wildfowl Centre, and the Loughor Estuary with views of the Mumbles Peninsula south of Swansea. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

    Kildonan is ideally located for maximising the views, sitting on a promontory near the head of Little Loch Broom, which in summer is ideal for swimming. Badluarch jetty, at the end of the single track lane, offers easy access to the water. Badluarach is a small crofting hamlet, with scattered cottages, sheep and cattle for company. The adjoining lane leads out onto open moorland. The area is a paradise for hill-walkers and climbers, with numerous walks directly from the property and the renowned munro of An Tellach just 5 minutes away. It is equidistant from Ullapool and Gairloch. The coastline that runs along this west coast is simply stunning. It forms part of the renowned North Coast 500 route which encompasses some of the most dramatic and unspoilt scenery to be found anywhere in the British Isles. Miles of sandy beaches are interspersed with coves, tumbling rivers and high mountains. In the nearby village of Dundonnell there is a restaurant and bar which is open throughout the summer months. Both Ullapool and Gairloch, just 30 minutes’ drive away, have excellent facilities, including a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as visitor attractions. Beach 4 miles. This room leads through into a self-contained kitchenette which can be used separately from the main kitchen, there is also a double bedroom with an en-suite shower. There are glass doors leading out from the bedroom onto the patio, which opens out into the garden. This part of the property is ideal for a couple or family member who would like to have a little extra space. Up on the first floor, you have the main living room, with comfortable seating for five guests and again you have wonderful sea views to take in. You also have a twin and a single bedroom, as well as the family bathroom with a shower over the bath. On the top floor, you have a super king bedroom under the eaves with velux windows bathing the room in light. The garden boasts a unique feature, a huge summerhouse with a glass partition wall which slides open to reveal an incredible social space complete with a bar, a dartboard, and a separate games room with a ping pong table.     Located on the peaceful end of the beach, just a short stroll leads you to the Floral Hall which holds year-round events as well as serving food from the seafront café. Beyond the Floral Hall you have many more cafés, bars, and shops to explore as well as the arcades for younger family members. A stroll on the promenade is clearly a must during your visit. The famous Hornsea Mere, is a 30 minute walk away, it offers fun-filled days of water sports, and during the summer months, a visit to Hornsea would not be complete without a trip to see Honeysuckle Farm and Mr. Moo’s Ice Cream Parlour. The RSPB reserve of Bempton Cliffs, a haven for birdwatchers, and The Deep at Hull are only a short drive away. You also have the seaside town of Bridlington nearby, with Sewerby Hall and Gardens. Plus the dramatic white cliffs and iconic lighthouse at Flamborough. The minster town of Beverley is also within easy reach and worth a visit.
