    Take the stairs to the first floor and you will find a large kingsize room with dual aspect windows and a small en-suite shower room and also a double room. Both the bedrooms have been furnished with guests’ comfort in mind and a great night’s sleep is guaranteed. Camoor Cottage has a small enclosed courtyard which retains one of the original cobbled walls. The private hot tub (for 3) is elevated on a decked area which also has seating to one side. There is also access from the courtyard to secure garage to the side of the property.
    A short walk from the property is the main shopping street and here you will find all the amenities required for your stay. The nearest pub is but a stone’s throw away and the beach only a ten minute walk. Hornsea is home to Hornsea Meer, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Yorkshire. It is great for boating and birdwatching. A little further afield are the stunning Yorkshire Wolds where there are miles of cycle routes and footpaths to explore. With a recently installed air source heat pump, solar panels on the property, ecological cleaning products and recycling of household waste, we take pride in our efforts to have as little impact upon the environment as possible, and we plan to continue improving.
    Holgates is set on one level, accessed via the conservatory into the well-equipped kitchen/dining room, with wonderful views across the garden and fields beyond. In the living room is plenty of seating, an electric fire for cosy evenings and French doors opening onto the garden and views of the rolling hills. The inner hallway has a games table and leads to the two bedrooms and main bathroom. The master bedroom has a super kingsize bed, a TV and hairdryer. There is room for us to make up a cot. The second bedroom can be made up into a kingsize bed or two singles.
    The enclosed garden has a terrace with table and chairs, as well as a coal barbeque, and you will find a selection of garden games in the conservatory. The hot tub offers the perfect spot for relaxing.
    Situated on the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within easy reach of the Quantock Hills and Honiton. For family entertainment, head to the Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum, The West Somerset Steam Railway, or for the younger ones, visit Crealy Adventure Park near Exeter. The Blackdown Hills themselves offer some superb country walking, wildlife, flying for the adventurous at Dunkeswell Airdrome or simply enjoy the local village pubs.
