The New Inn Barn (UK31813) is a converted barn for up to six people provides excellent accommodation for families and friends who are looking to enjoy a break and get away from it all. The house has a large meadow outside, perfect for a game of football, plus your enclosed garden with a hot tub at the back. Inside, it has been decorated and equipped to a very high standard. It has two king size bedrooms, one with an en-suite and there is also a family bathroom, a wonderful well-equipped kitchen, a spacious living and dining room with large TV. There is a comfortable sofa bed in the living room which is suitable for two adults.

Within an easy drive is Longleat House and Safari Park a great day out for all. Guests can also spend some time at Stourhead House and Gardens and heading just to the other side of the abbey town of Sherborne, a favourite with everyone is the Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum, with its feature aircraft carrier deck. For lovers of vintage classic cars of a bygone day, then the Haynes Motor Museum is well worth a visit to see an array of superb classic car collections. Further inland into south Somerset, you can spend days out taking in the ever-popular Clarks Factory Village, Glastonbury and on to Cheddar Gorge and Caves. Wander into the quaint town of Shaftesbury with its famous Gold Hill, Sherborne with its wonderful shops and abbeys, or go south towards Dorchester the county town, Weymouth with its award-winning beach and seaside atmosphere and the famous Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. Welcome to Violet Bay, this stunning fisherman’s cottage located a short walk from the famous golden sand beach of Weymouth is the perfect place for the family to stay and enjoy their holiday in Weymouth. This recently refurbished property has been completed to a high standard with furniture to match. Entering the property you will notice the living room with the electric log burner, Smart TV, comfy sofa, and a single sofa bed. The dining room is at the rear of the property where there is bench seating for up to six guests, French doors open on to the rear garden which is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening under the stars.
The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, microwave-oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, and coffee machine. Upstairs both bedrooms sleep 2 with bedroom one with a King size bed and bedrooms two with a twin bed with a zip-link mattress. The bathroom is at the rear of the property where a small step takes you down in a bathroom with shower over bath, toilet, basin, and Heated towel rail. Outside you will also find the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also an outside toilet. A short walk from violet bay you will be welcomed to the beautiful sites of Weymouth harbour, this once famous fishing harbour is now home to many pleasure boats, small ferries, and many water sport activities for you all to enjoy.

The Weymouth Beach which is positioned in the heart of The World-Famous Jurassic Coast is the perfect bay to enjoy a swim or time with a book on the beach. Closer to the property, Portland is a 10-minute drive, which is home of the 2012 Olympic Sailing Academy, Chesil beach, the renowned Portland Bill Lighthouse plus many more. It has a comfortable interior; on the ground floor is an open plan living space with French doors which open onto a private patio and undisturbed views. There’s also a ground floor shower room. Heading upstairs are two bedrooms: one double and one twin, and a bathroom with bath, basin and toilet.
The property sits on the edge of cider orchards and there are lovely long walks across the Blackmore Vale with several footpaths within easy reach which lead down into the village of Buckhorn Weston and the local pub for wining and dining. Within easy driving there is much to enjoy, whether taking in the lovely character towns of Sherborne, with its shops, castle and abbey, or Shaftesbury with its links to Hovis and the famous Gold Hill. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining room is located next to the kitchen where you can enjoy a morning coffee or a family meal. Upstairs via the unique spiral staircase there are three bedrooms - a master bedroom with kingsize bed and en-suite shower room, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The family bathroom offers a shower over bath, basin and toilet.
Farnham is a small village with a pub a short walk away, and Larmer Tree Gardens is only a short drive away, well worth a visit to wander around the beautiful gardens. You can also visit the National Trust sites of Kingston Lacy House, Hod Hill and the White Mill. Dorset Heavy Horse Farm is a wonderful family day out where you can feed the animals or enjoy a ride in a horse drawn carriage. You can visit Moors Valley Park where there are tree top walkways, or you can cycle around the woodlands. One place you will not want to miss is the walks along the Jurassic Coastline taking in sites such as Lulworth Cove and Durdle door, located approximately 1 hour from the property. Beach 20 miles.
