The open plan living/dining room is very spacious and benefits from vaulted ceilings. In the living area, with industrial style décor, the large double height window and patio door offers unique views and access into the garden. With the benefit of a wood burner, whether it be day or night, summer or winter, everyone can come together and enjoy quality time. The dining area has table seating for eight guests. To the rear of the bungalow the large conservatory has underfloor heating, deep-filled, comfy sofas and a 42" Smart TV which provides an additional space for relaxation. A gentle stroll will bring you to the local village pub where you can mix with the locals whilst enjoying a relaxing drink. A little further afield is the historic walled City of York which offers over two thousand years of history and the cathedral town of Selby. Carr House farmhouse is set on a working farm, but only minutes away from the attractions of Scarborough and only 1½ miles from the well known surfing beach at Cayton Bay, which also welcomes dog walkers throughout the year. Visitors of all ages will enjoy the large landscaped gardens with a summerhouse, apple trees and barbecue, with a perimeter fence making it ideal for both children and pets. This detached farmhouse is ideal for touring the North Yorkshire coast, from Whitby in the north to Bridlington in the south. Thornlea is one of a kind, this characterful spacious property is beautifully furnished with a fun splash of colour. You are perched up on the cliff top, just a short walk down to the golden sandy beach stretching all the way to neighbouring Sandsend. At the rear of the property you have an enclosed garden, bursting with colour through the spring and summer months, with both the dining room and the sun room having glass doors opening out into this welcoming outdoor space. Stardust is an exceptional seafront property, it is spacious and beautifully furnished throughout, ensuring you have an idyllic stay by the coast. With offroad parking on the driveway at the front of the property, steps lead you up to the front door where you have elevated views over the sea. Stepping inside the hallway leads you to the spacious modern kitchen, which is open plan with the dining area. The dining table is a great size for enjoying meals together, and with the large leather sofa in this room it’s the perfect social space where you can all plan the days ahead whilst cooking and prepping. Glass doors open out into the large lawned enclosed garden, complete with a patio where you can soak up the sun. On the ground floor you also have three bedrooms, the two at the front are both generous in size with desirable sea views. One bedroom is a twin the other is a king. The third bedroom which has a double bed at the rear of the property boasts a walk-in wardrobe as well as an en-suite shower room. You are within easy walking distance of the many attractions and sights this gorgeous coastal town boasts. This town was inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and there is a dark side of Whitby with ghost walks to both fright and delight. The wonderful Goth Festival takes place twice a year and keep an eye out for other festivals such as the Folk Festival, Whitby Regatta and the Steam Punk Weekend. With many award-winning restaurants, olde worlde pubs and tea rooms, a colourful harbour and a glorious long golden beach, this is a great place for all interests and ages. The unspoilt fishing village of Staithes, 10 miles away, nestles into the cliffs of the Heritage Coast and is just one of the nearby hidden beaches to explore. The Byre is perfectly set in the delightful market town of Helmsley. The cottage itself many years ago was an old cow shed as the name suggests however the owners have given it the love and attention it deserves with a full renovation and made it a fantastic holiday retreat for couples with no expense meaning visitors are ensured of perfection throughout.
You enter the property into the open plan living/kitchen area. The kitchen is well equipped and well-presented and has all the necessities should you not want to dine out at the many restaurants close by. The living area has a comfortable sofa which is great to snuggle up on in front of the fabulous wood burner on those colder evenings. The property is open plan throughout except for the separate bathroom which offers a shower over the bath and heated towel rail. Towards the back of the property is a plush double bed with cosy linen guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep after exploring this stunning area.
