    Located in a peaceful part of the popular fishing town of Whitby, The Garth benefits from a spacious interior and a lovely front garden as well as an enclosed rear garden plus a driveway with parking for two vehicles. In such a popular seaside town the convenience of having private parking is great, the property is opposite the local Rugby Club, which has a play area for children and a friendly bar open in the evenings. This three bedroomed, semi-detached house has been thoughtfully furnished and makes for a fantastic home from home, and is ideal for families, as well as couples and friends. As well as a comfortable living room with a large Smart TV and an inviting gas fire, there is a well-equipped kitchen, plus a dining table where you can all socialise together. Upstairs there is a master double bedroom with a wardrobe, drawers and a dressing table as well as an en-suite bathroom. There is also a second double bedroom also with plenty of storage and a double bunk bed in the third bedroom, along with a family shower room. Outside the rear garden has a seating area, as well as bike storage and is enclosed making it ideal for dogs. A dog crate can be provided upon request and a dog walker can also be arranged.

    There are all year round dog friendly beaches for you and your pooch to enjoy close by, the nearest beach is only a 15-minute walk away. Whitby is a wonderful historic town with plenty to do for all the family to enjoy. Why not attend one of the many events or festivals such as the Regatta and Goth Weekend, or just stroll through the cobbled streets with its ’jet’ jewellers, independent shops as well as many cafés, restaurants and bars, where you can sample freshly caught seafood and take in the views. For outdoor enthusiasts the Cleveland Way is just a few hundred yards away, where you can turn left for Saltburn and Sandsend or right for Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay. There is also a public golf course close by.

    The Whitby coast is ideal for beach lovers and those wanting to take a boat trip out to sea in the hope of spotting a whale, or just wanting to enjoy the long stretch of golden sandy beach. The Victorian town of Scarborough is just to the south, with its Sealife Centre and the popular open air theatre, attracting top musical acts for all ages. Saltburn and Sandsend are popular with surfers, and the quaint village of Staithes is worth a visit with its links to the explorer Captain James Cook.

    Head inland and you will enter the North York Moors National Park with its miles of beautiful countryside, walking routes and waterfalls. If you don’t fancy a drive, take the steam train from Whitby right into ’Heartbeat’ country. The medieval walled city of York is just an hour away and you’ll find plenty of attractions from The National Railway Museum to York Dungeons and The Jorvik Viking Centre. There is a rapid electric vehicle charging point within 300 yards of the property. Beach ¾ mile.
