A trip on the Settle-Carlisle railway line takes you across the impressive Ribblehead Viaduct and showcases the Yorkshire Dales, as well as occasionally running steam trains. If you wish to venture further afield, the Ribble Valley is nearby with lots of picturesque villages featuring babbling becks and country inns. The Lake District National Park can be reached within an hour and is perfect for day trips as well as Morecambe Bay on the Fylde Coast. Or simply stay in, relax in front of the wood burner and cheers to a memorable stay in a truly fantastic holiday home.
