Penllyn’s main mountain ranges - Aran, Arenig and Berwyn – rival those of other parts of Snowdonia but are not as crowded. Hundreds of miles of footpaths and bridleways give access to spectacular places no matter what time of year you visit. Further afield is Llangollen well worth a trip in the car, here you’ll find the Horseshoe Falls and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which offers beautiful walks, barge trips and views.
