Outside is decking with dining table and chairs for eight and barbecue, is a great place for alfresco dining and unwinding at any time of day. A balcony at the front equipped with a bistro set is the perfect place to enjoy the morning sun with a coffee and watch the world go by. Stroll westward along the beach to the most picturesque of fishing hamlets, tiny Porthdinllaen with the world famous Ty Coch pub, or enjoy a drink and a meal at the Cliffs bar and sea food restaurant which is just a few yards from your front door.. Shop locally at Morfa Nefyn’s General Store which supplies a mouth watering range of locally sourced meat and fish and lovers of good food are sure to enjoy a meal at the local gastropub. This is one of the most remote and unspoilt stretches of coastline in Wales. Join the Coastal Path, carpeted in wildflowers in late spring and sea birds galore, lookout for the Chough - the emblem of the Peninsula with its distinctive red bill and legs - and the resident colony of grey seals. Only half a mile from Morfa Nefyn’s spectacular links golf club which offers some of the most scenic and challenging holes in golf. Towels are not included.

With a wide variety of independent shops, restaurants, a cinema and cafés to choose from, Tywyn itself is a thriving seaside town and has something for everyone! The Wales Coastal Path passes through Tywyn and there are some good walks taking in the views of Cardigan Bay along with Snowdonia and the Cambrian Mountains to the south. If you keep your eyes peeled, you may even be lucky enough to spot some dolphins. The property is also within walking distance of a train station.
Venture out into the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and explore one of the trails, for walking, cycling, hiking and even mountain biking. For the more adventure seekers, Cader Idris is the highest mountain in southern Snowdonia and is a popular peak to conquer.

For a fun activity for everyone why not visit Talyllyn Railway. The journey itself crosses more than seven miles of spectacular scenery within sight of one of Britain’s highest mountains, Cadair Idris. The journey takes 55 minutes up the line from Tywyn through the ancient woodlands and meadows of the Fathew Valley. En route keep your eyes peeled for Red Kites, Cormorants, Barn Owl, Redstart, Peregrine Falcons, Wheatear, Linnet and Little Owl. The cosy covered and open carriages provide the best of comfort and views as you travel up the line. There’s Bird Rock close by, Dolgoch Falls, and the Mawddach all very close.
