The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is just along the coast, as is Fantasy Island at Ingoldmells with its huge funfair and market. Gibraltar Point nature reserve is approximately a 30-minute drive away to the south of Skegness, and inland there are the market towns of Alford, Louth and Horncastle to explore. If you are bringing your dog on holiday there is an enclosed area to the rear, and the large kitchen/dining room provides a great space for all the family to be together at meal times. Wainfleet All Saints is a quaint market town with an array of shops, pubs, restaurant and a railway station. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is just 5 miles away, and has a lovely sandy beach and family entertainment, including the Fantasy Island theme park. The National Trust properties of Gunby Hall and Tattershall Castle are within easy driving distance. Visit bird and seal sanctuaries along the coast, or take a trip to medieval Lincoln, with its famous castle and cathedral, just 40 miles away, across the scenic, rolling Lincolnshire Wolds countryside. A drive or bus ride south along the coast takes you to Sutton-on-Sea, Sandilands and Anderby Creek, all popular for lovely walks along the seafront or along their sandy beaches. Further south is Fantasy Island and Butlin’s for adventure filled family days out, with Skegness and its funfair and attractions including the Embassy Theatre and Cinema also offering plenty to see and do. To the north is Donna Nook Seal Sanctuary and breeding grounds, which are always well worth a visit during the breeding season with usually around a thousand seal pups born here each year.

Within 15 minutes’ drive you have the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe, Fantasy Island, Butlins, Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve as well as The Lincolnshire Wolds. A nearby footpath through the field takes you to the village pub where you can have food, and is a 10-minute walk away, before you return to soak in your own private hot tub and enjoy the open view across the fields.
For those wishing to enjoy a very popular gastro pub there is one at Skendleby approximately a 10-minute drive away. You can even bring your family dog, with two small dogs welcome, but please be aware there could be cattle or sheep in adjacent fields. There are very good walks from the door with the area also being very popular for cyclists. Beach 5 miles. Pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
