Nearby Kirton has a good range of amenities including shops and pubs which is only a 10-minute walk away. Situated in between the historic towns of Spalding and Boston, you can visit the famous Boston ’Stump’, enjoy numerous good restaurants, shops, cafés and bars as well as the weekly markets and river boat rides.
For days out, the seaside resort of Skegness is approx. 45 minutes, and Hunstanton in Norfolk about an hour’s drive. Major cities surrounding within a 35-mile radius. Nature reserves at Frampton RSPB (10 mins car journey) and Gibraltor Point offer opportunity to see the migrating birds and wildlife as well as many miles of excellent walks. For cycle enthusiasts, there are some great cycle routes close by. While you’re surrounding yourself in romantic luxury see if you can spot the abundance of wildlife, including, squirrels, owls, bats, dragonflies, rabbits, robins, woodpeckers, various birds of prey and the occasional muntjac deer.

These 5 holiday cabins, each with furnished verandah for dining al fresco, are located 7 miles from Boston, and 20 miles from Skegness. They are situated just outside the small village of Old Leake where there are two pubs, a supermarket and a children’s play area. The site is ½ mile from the A52 with a regular bus service to Boston and Skegness.
Sheepgate Equestrian Centre is 2 miles away, where National Dressage competitions are held. The local RSPB reserve at Freiston Shore is 5 miles away, whilst Leverton village to the south has a café, supermarket and pub.
There are many country lanes around the site which are ideal for walking and cycling. The cabins overlook an established fishing lake (permit provided), however, guests will also be required to have their own Environment Agency fishing license. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Cadwell Park Race Circuit near Louth is approximately 20 minutes’ drive and the city of Lincoln, well known for its cathedral and castle is approximately 35 minutes’ drive. Explore the castle or enjoy shopping on the High Street. The area around the Wharf has many good restaurants and bars to sit outside and watch the world go by on the water. On your return sit back and relax in the hot tub or stroll to the village pub for refreshment. There are many good walks and cycle routes throughout the area and from the door. Beach 15 miles. There is something for everyone to enjoy in the area; catch the bus to Fantasy island, Butlins or into the seaside resort of Skegness with its funfair, amusements, seal sanctuary, aquarium and Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. Or travel in the other direction to Chapel St Leonards with its shops and amusements, Seascape Café where you watch the sun rise and set, Anderby Creek, as well as Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe all along the coast to the north. There are good walks and cycle routes from the door and you can return in the evenings to the luxury and comfort of Sycamore Lodge to relax in front of your tv, or sit back in the garden and gaze at the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds in the distance. There is horse riding and coarse fishing nearby with the pub and shop 500 yds away.

Horncastle is renowned for its antique shops and is only a short drive away. Inland 25 minutes away is the cathedral city of Lincoln, rich in history combined with independent boutique shopping, great arts and culture and many places to eat and drink while exploring. And after your days spent exploring or relaxing you can return to your cottage to relax with food and drink available through a private gate at the end of your garden.
