Surrounded by Ayrshire countryside and set on a working farm, this pet-friendly, large detached house is ideal for groups of up to 12 people and family get-togethers. The attractive accommodation is set over two stories and includes six bedrooms (4 en-suite and 2 dedicated bathrooms), large kitchen, sunroom and spacious comfortable living room with four sofas and plenty of extra seating – ideal for social gatherings. The games room can be found in the converted double garage and caters for all ages. One bedroom and a dedicated shower room is located on the ground floor, perfect for those who prefer not to use the stairs. The grounds offer up plenty of walks and unobstructed views across the mountains of Arran.
Despite Yonderton being in the open countryside, Ayr is only 15 minutes away, where you will find almost everything! This Victorian seaside town is steeped in history and has great eateries where you can sample a wide variety of locally grown produce. Ayrshire’s many golf courses are only minutes away with Trump Turnberry and Royal Troon being some of the top-rated courses in the world.
It truly is the gateway to the west of Scotland - with Glasgow only 50 minutes away, and trips to the Isle of Arran are possible with only a short drive to the ferry terminal. You can also see the Isle of Arran from the farm - offering up some of the best sunsets you will ever see. Ferry services go from Ardrossan, Gourock, and Wemyss to Arran, Argyll and Bute, Cumbrae and the Mull of Kintyre. The Ayrshire Coastal Path is a 100-mile long coastal walk with one of the finest panoramic coastlines in the British Isles. Crowned with a superb backdrop of the ever-changing profile of the mountains of Arran across the Firth of Clyde, this coastline is steeped in history and teeming with wildlife, including red squirrels, deer, otters and seals; it is also a haven for bird watchers. Mountain bikers will love a visit to Galloway Forest National Park.

A fascinating fusion unfurls inside an Edwardian Castle in the form of this apartment. Hidden down a private drive in deep Scottish countryside, at first glance, the apartment is grandly presented inside a 19th-century castle, but a closer inspection reveals contemporary features dovetailed into the original design, cleverly expanding the space and light to create a luxury, self-catering homestay that’s bespoke down to the last detail. Please be sure to request the right number of bedrooms by reserving for the correct number of guests. Four bedrooms have kingsize beds, and two bedrooms have single beds. Three bathrooms contain bath and shower, and three bathrooms contain shower only.
Traditional vintage charm combines with boutique flair inside, with many secret spots to sit and absorb the tranquil grounds. Every effort has been made to preserve original features of the castle, including the stripped-back blond hardwood floor, and the art deco spiral stairs case from a Glaswegian company at the height of its industrial heyday. History buffs will particularly delight at the original furniture, art works and artifacts dotted throughout the space. With its double-floor loft style, the apartment will appeal to those with passion for architecture and history. Persian rugs cover the gorgeous reclaimed wood floor, original to the castle. An arcadia mural stands prominently in the living room and family space. Mid-century leather sofa and gold coffee table, alongside leather rocking chairs and an upcycled wood burner will make sure you lounge in true Mad-Men style. A modern kitchen with muted jade colours and breakfast bar will encourage lengthy lingerings alongside poached eggs. With a nod to mid-century inspiration, ghost chairs around the dining area opens up the space to connect the kitchen and the living area. Six bedrooms make slumberous havens. Plush wall-to-wall carpets are throughout the top floor, alongside four bathrooms. The collection of beds in the apartment is definitely something to write home about: Italianate canopy bed, 18th-century antique mahogany single beds, linen-upholstered and brass-studded rococo bed, and the grand colonial style reclaimed wood bed will ensure the sweetest sleeps.
The historic Edwardian castle estate lies in the heart of picturesque Portpatrick. 2000 acres of glen walks, forests, beaches, lochs, gardens and waterfalls to explore. The Castle Apartment is completely self-contained with its own private courtyard and entrance. The walled garden with its glass house is a romantic and peaceful retreat on the estate. Two lochs nestle into the hills and rhododendron banks. Wander along the glen walk past a rushing waterfall, and a babbling brook, to the two beaches to spot dolphins and seals. Dunskey Golf Course and the picturesque Portpatrick Harbour is two minutes away. Fishing expeditions from the beaches or on our two lochs are available. We will be available to assist in any way we can throughout your stay. Portpatrick Village has a public tennis court, putting green, golf course, beaches, and many restaurants. It is a very family-friendly destination. Parking is available throughout the estate. A car is highly recommended for the area. Wellies are highly recommended for the walks around the ground.

Dunmore Villa provides flexibility of space, suitable for extended families or large groups of friends, sleeping up to 13 guests, all in bedrooms with amazing sea views. The architecturally designed building compliments the stunning natural surroundings with internal furnishings and stone fireplace having been inspired by the beauty and colours of the Argyll countryside. The Villa has been extensively upgraded with eco features including solar panels, a wood burner, insulation and wood cladding. New bathrooms have been fitted throughout the house, and a glass-fronted dining room with terrace has been added giving magnificent views of the West Loch. There is a boat ramp and jetty for those who wish to bring their own boats, or for fishing and water activities.

Set in an area of Argyll known for its spectacular coastlines, Dunmore Villa is situated on the North side of West Loch Tarbert, seven miles from the village of Tarbert, Loch Fyne on the extensive Dunmore Estate which has 900 acres of land and over two miles of coastline; much of the land is protected by Scottish Natural Heritage.

With beautiful coastlines and grand scenery within walking distance, there is plenty to do during your stay at Dunmore Villa, from stunning nature walks to a more relaxed day at a local coastal spa boasting a heated outdoor infinity pool, just a 20-minute ferry away. Just a 7-mile scenic drive along the coast is the bustling fishing village of Tarbert. From craft shops and galleries, to souvenir shops, there are plenty of places to browse. Tarbert also has a several dog-friendly pubs, restaurants and cafés to enjoy a meal. or grab yourself some local fish and chips and enjoy eating on one of the many picnic benches surrounding the Tarbert Harbour.

The area around Kilberry has lots of forest and coastal walks and is close to many beautiful beaches with stunning views over the Atlantic. The relatively flat landscape and easy access affords many opportunities to enjoy coastal walking and exploring. The area is packed with history and some sights not to be missed include Tarbert Castle, Skipness Castle and Saddell Castle & Abbey. With ferries to Arran, Gigha, Islay, Jura and the Cowal peninsula all within a short drive, there is plenty to explore. Kintyre has miles of unspoilt coastline with fantastic white sandy beaches and rolling countryside.
