Offering fabulous panoramic views of the Peak District National Park, this 17th century barn conversion has been lovingly restored and offers the perfect accomodation for a rural escape. Birch Cottage retains its original character through exposed beams and stonework, and has also been lovingly and attractively furnished throughout. The barn enjoys use of extensive gardens shared with the other properties on-site, offering fabulous views and a variety of seating areas which provide the perfect place to unwind on warmer days. The gardens are complemented even further by use of a shared hot tub, Finnish barbecue house (available on request, at cost) and tennis courts. The on-site spa is complete with steam rooms, saunas, foot spas, an aromatherapy room, tropical experience shower and a Rasul mud room, as well as an outdoor area with wood-fired tub (all available at cost). Inspired by the relaxing, calming and revitalising aura of South East Asia, the spa is a haven in which to enjoy incredible facilities, set within stunning countryside, just perfect to energise the soul.

Overlooking the Trans Pennine Trail, and with your four-legged friends welcome, local walks are plentiful with many reservoirs and trails on the doorstep. There is an excellent choice of country pubs and restaurants within easy reach, and nearby attractions include the bustling town of Holmfirth, Chatsworth House, Harewood House, the ever popular market town of Bakewell or spa town of Buxton. A unique self-contained studio apartment with its own entrance with a kitchen offering everything you should need for the duration of your stay to cook your favourite meal. In the bathroom you will find a spa bath with salts, bubbles, and other things to make your stay comfortable. There is also a recently installed full shower over the bath. The owners of the property offer a unique experience where they will happily give you a tour of the tower (once one of the original Beacons) and tell you the story and interesting history of the church. In under an hour, you can be in Harrogate, York, Chatsworth, or Sheffield.
