This beautiful Grade II listed, double fronted, terraced cottage is located in the idyllic north Worcestershire village of Chaddesley Corbett, between Bromsgrove and Kidderminster. This spacious and lovely furnished cottage has retained much charm and character and is the ideal place to stay for families and friends wishing to explore the area. Chaddesley Corbett is situated within the Wyre Forest District of Worcestershire and boasts a butchers, florist, tea rooms, hairdressers with beautician and three village pubs including one opposite the cottage, where you will often be able to experience live music, jazz nights, open mic nights and an annual classic car rally in August. Chaddesley Woods is an area of woodland and nature reserve on one side of the village with a network of public footpaths to explore the area. Also within the village is the luxury Brockencote Hall where you can fine dine in their 3 AA Rosette restaurant or you can visit the Grade I listed 11th-century church of St Cassian’s.
There is plenty to keep everyone amused in the nearby area including the West Midland Safari Park, the open air Avoncroft Museum, Severn Valley Steam Railway, the Georgian town of Bewdley sitting on the River Severn, the transport museum, National Trust properties including Kinver Edge and the Rock Houses, Knowles Mill and Hanbury Hall and Gardens. For the more active, you can try your hand at sailing at the nearby Upton Warren Sailing Club or Chelmarsh Sailing Club, fishing, canoeing and golf are close by and the owner can arrange guest access at Cutnall Green Tennis Club during your stay. Bromsgrove is 5 miles away and offers more extensive shopping and leisure facilities, as does the equidistant town of Kidderminster. You enter the property on the ground floor which leads straight into the open plan living/kitchen/dining area, the dining area has a large table great for enjoying group meals with friends or family. Continuing through there is a large, well equipped and modern kitchen area and the cosy spacious living area. The living space has bi-fold doors leading outside to a hot tub and the front of the property. Back inside you also have a kingsize bedroom on the ground floor with an en-suite shower room. On the first floor you will find a further two kingsize bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room and the fourth has bunk beds. Outside, there is a terrace fitted with a hot tub to the front of the property and to the side, there are some stones steps leading to the back of the property with a sitting-out area.
The Cottage is situated next to the owner’s home in the beautiful countryside with great transport links near by. This property offers a fantastic get away for everyone no matter what you plan to do, from staying in and relaxing to getting out and exploring, all this can be achieved from this fantastic property. The vibrant Georgian town of Bewdley is just a short drive away with shops, restaurants, River Severn, Tourist Information Centre, museum, rowing, tennis, bowling, fishing clubs, Bewdley Severn Valley Railway and West Midland Safari Park just across the road. The Wyre Forest, with all its walks and cycle tracks is just a few minutes’ drive away. The towns of Cleobury Mortimer, Ludlow and Bridgnorth are all ideal places to visit and shop and are all within 15 miles from Bewdley. The beauty spots of Wolverley Arboretum and Kinver Edge are nearby, so you are never far away from beautiful scenery and wide open spaces.
