If you are looking for a holiday home with a touch of luxury, Eden Grove is the perfect property for you. Surrounded by magnificent countryside, and only 10 minutes away from the historic city of Carlisle, this lovely detached house is an ideal retreat for friends and family to enjoy.
Eden Grove is elegantly furnished and boasts a large, enclosed walled garden. The elegant décor and furnishings are visible from the moment you walk through the door. Relax in the beautiful sitting room with its large open fire, or enjoy a meal with friends in the grandeur of the stunning dining room. For that more informal meal, there is the relaxed atmosphere of the dining area, adjacent to the spectacular kitchen. On lovely summer evenings you can open up the doors through to the conservatory and enjoy the views of the enclosed walled garden.
There are four sumptuously furnished bedrooms, all decorated with your comfort in mind, two of which have beautiful en-suite facilities. There is also a large family bathroom with double sinks, a shower and a roll-top bath.
You can walk through the grounds of the property and access the world famous Hadrian’s Wall path. If you want to sit back and relax, the owners can arrange hot tub hire instead. Beach 15 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub ¼ mile and restaurant 4 miles.

This delightful holiday cottage adjoins the owners’ Grade II listed, 18th-century farmhouse. The original features have been combined with modern fittings to create a comfortable holiday home. Situated within a village it has direct access to Hadrian’s Wall and the coastal cycle route (72). It lies 3 miles west of Carlisle and is a short drive to the Scottish Border, Lake District and Northumberland’s National Park, and is close to the Solway Firth. Fishing can be found nearby. An excellent base for those wishing to explore this area. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.

Set in beautiful surroundings at New Mills Trout Fishing Park, why not try your hand at fly fishing? The lake is home to rainbow, tiger, blue and brown trout – probably the true fisherman’s ideal holiday destination. For the novice, try your hand at the fun fishing pond and bag yourself that ’I’ve caught my first fish’ experience, with all tuition and equipment provided. Also on-site to enjoy are giant games including Connect 4 and chess alongside a Fairy Trail and pond dipping, or simply visit the children’s play park and tackle shop. Please note costs for our fishing and other activities are separate and pre-booking is advised.
Lake View Cottage has a small patio area overlooking the fishery and boasts a private 34-jet hot tub for up to five guests. Enjoy the starry night sky while the warmth of the hot tub bubbles away. Another aspect perfect for socialising is the open-plan living space, seamlessly blending dining and quality time in one wholesome space. For additional comfort, both bedrooms invite you with zip and link beds, meaning flexible arrangements are offered ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep for friends and families alike.
The cottage is situated only 1 mile away from the picturesque market town of Brampton and further afield is the lovely city of Carlisle. Ullswater and the Northern Lakes are just over half an hour’s drive away. This is the ideal base for a holiday full of adventure and exploring, and no visit is complete without a visit to the famous Hadrian’s Wall. There are also lovely riverside walks close by. Angerton Cottage is a delightful country cottage set in beautiful countryside yet close to the many and varied attractions the area has to offer. Refurbished in 2021 Angerton Cottage is lovingly decorated and furnished throughout, a particularly favourite room at Angerton Cottage is the living room with patio doors opening onto the garden where you can sit and enjoy the wildlife. In the winter the cosy wood burner in the living room is a joy.

With three comfortable bedrooms, a lovely kitchen and separate dining room it’s the perfect cottage for a family get together at any time of year and of course your four-legged friend is well catered for in the large, enclosed garden. From Angerton Cottage you can walk or cycle along quiet country lanes or jump in the car and you are in the heart of the Lake District National Park within half an hour where you can enjoy more strenuous hikes or just take in the delights of the lakes and mountains and the lovely towns like Keswick and Windermere.

Angerton Cottage is situated close to the border City of Carlisle, where you can visit a range of attractions including Tullie House and the impressive cathedral and Castle. A short drive will take you to the ruins of the famous Hadrian’s Wall, or why not take a drive over the border to the beautiful beaches of Dumfries and Galloway.

Town Foot Farm is a beautiful detached former Farmhouse located in the heart of the delightful small village of Hayton with Brampton and Carlisle close by.
Town Foot farm has been completely renovated in 2022 and provides a welcoming and comfortable holiday property perfect for family or friends to enjoy. The hub of the house is most definitely the elegant and stylish large sitting/dining room with comfortable sofas and ornate furnishings including the large dining table. It is the perfect room for either sitting and relaxing or enjoying a meal around the table. The kitchen with all mod cons has a breakfast table where you can sit in the morning or indeed fling open the patio doors and enjoy your morning coffee in the enclosed and private courtyard. South facing the courtyard catches the sun all day long so just perfect to start your day. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, one en-suite and one is the perfect little room for the kids. With its enclosed rear courtyard Town Foot Farmhouse welcomes dogs, the more the merrier so please just ask!
Hayton is a quiet little village with a popular village Pub which serves food at the weekends and the village is surrounded by the rolling Cumbrian countryside. Three miles away is the market town of Brampton where you will find a variety of quaint little shops and some excellent pubs and restaurants. Hayton is ideally placed to enjoy the many attractions close by, none more so than the iconic Hadrian’s Wall where you can walk stretches of this World Heritage Site.
A visit to Talkin Tarn Country Park is a great day out for all the family with its 65-acre lake set amid 120 acres of farmland and woodland, the ideal place to enjoy a walk or even try your hand at some boating on the lake. A mere half hour drive you can explore the delights of the Lake District National Park or cross the border for a scenic drive into Scotland.

Low Moat is a charming, detached country cottage set quietly on a working farm nestled in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside.
Spacious and comfortable and with the added luxury of a private hot tub, Low Moat is only eight miles from the world-famous Gretna Green so perhaps Low Moat is your ideal honeymoon destination! Cannondale has been fully refurbished in 2019 to provide a comfortable and stylish haven, four bedrooms with a super kingsize bed (two with zip and link option to be made up into twin bedrooms), all with their own en-suite. One of the bedrooms is found on the ground floor, the ideal option for the less mobile. The large living room offers a generous space and comfort, with a cosy wood burner, large TV and French doors leading out onto the enclosed garden and patio. There is also a spacious open plan kitchen/dining room with French doors also leading out into the garden. There is comfortable space for eight to live and dine together, whilst offering privacy and freedom for everybody in each bedroom.

Situated inbetween Windermere and Bowness, you are just a short walk from either, ideal for enjoying the local shops and eateries or to experience a trip out on Lake Windermere. The property is also ideally located within an easy drive or cycle to one of the many hundreds of walking routes or excursions that are enjoyed in the south Lakes and the Lake District on a daily basis.
