    This large, terraced property, built from Lakeland stone, sleeps up to six guests in three spacious bedrooms, and is spread over three floors. Completely renovated and new to the market for 2019, it combines high quality fixtures and fittings throughout with stylish interior design. A lot of care has gone into ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction, and you certainly won’t be disappointed. The top floor features a spacious double bedroom with a super kingsize bed and a large contemporary bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. The first floor features a spacious double bedroom with super kingsize bed and another twin bedroom. The bathroom on this floor features a free-standing, roll-top bath and large walk-in shower. At the heart of the house is an open-plan living room and dining room complete with large flatscreen TV and wood burner, perfect for cosy nights by the fire and is a really social space for a banquet after a day on the fells. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, and leads to a lovely terrace at the rear with garden furniture if you fancy a bit of fresh air. From the back garden you can also access a garage for storing equipment or bikes.
    If you love outdoor adventure like cycling, walking and climbing, you are surrounded by some amazing scenery and routes around Latrigg and Catbells, while nearby you’ll find Helvellyn, Skiddaw and Blencathra to name a few.
    From the front door you are just 5 minutes’ walk from the main market square. Keswick is vibrant with a great outdoor market and plenty of places where you can eat and drink. Its bustling centre has an abundance of quality restaurants, pubs serving local cask ales, independent shops as well as outdoor and fashion brands. There are also plenty of delis, bakeries, coffee shops and local craft stalls. Famous for its narrow streets and courtyards, this traditional market town is one not to be missed. If you like culture, check out the Theatre By The Lake, ¾ mile away with award winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater. From the lake you can hire a rowing boat or even take a dip. For family fun, why not try Puzzling Place ½ mile away? This is a mind-boggling attraction based on optical illusions, or visit the Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world. For a really wild day out, try The Lake District Wildlife Park at Bassenthwaite, 8½ miles, or The Lakes Distillery offering daily tours and gin, whisky and vodka tasting, 8 miles. There is also golf at Keswick Golf Club, 4¾ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

    As soon as you step through the door you are immediately embraced and absorbed by the warmth and charm of this lovely property. The cottage has been lovingly renovated but retains it beautiful features and continues to offer a spacious comfortable environment for guests. The wood burning fire is a welcome addition on those cooler evenings. The dining room can easily cater for all guests and offers a second wood burner. The kitchen is well appointed with all the amenities you require to prepare any meal.
    Upstairs are three bedrooms comprising of a large master bedroom with a double bed and then two twin bedrooms. The accommodation is completed with a family bathroom which offers a choice of a bath or shower. There are shared gardens with the adjoining property (Church House Cottage UK44573) and the properties share access to a barn which offers table tennis, pool and table football. The immediate area around the cottage is a walker’s and cyclist’s paradise with a selection of fells, pikes, and woods to explore, and within a 30 minutes’ drive you can be at Coniston Water, the sight of the famous Donald Campbell’s water speed world record.
    A short 10 minutes’ drive away is the market town of Broughton in Furness. Broughton has excellent amenities with a selection of local shops, tourist information centre and petrol station. In and around Broughton you will also find some of the excellent pubs, including several award winners, many offering good quality food alongside their real ales and roaring fires, you will be spoilt for choice as to where to dine out. For a family day out there is plenty to offer such as South Lakes Safari Zoo at nearby Dalton, Muncaster Castle with its owl sanctuary, Eskdale miniature railway, the Lakes Aquarium and boat trips on Coniston Water and Lake Windermere. You’ll never be short of something to do.
