Step through the gate into your fully enclosed garden area, with a large patio that has a fabulous seating area and is the perfect place to relax at any time of day, and tucked into the corner is your private hot tub with screening around to soak away your stresses while staring at the stars in the evening, or listening to the bird song during the day. Barnyard enjoys a southerly aspect making the most of the summer evenings and romantic sunsets.
    Inside, Barnyard is perfect for families of all ages, with level access throughout. The property has been designed with the visually impaired in mind. The stunning open-plan lounge, kitchen, and diner has a gorgeous vaulted ceiling with oak beams and original statement lighting fixtures.     If you can tear yourself away from Barnyard, you are met with a plethora of things to do in the local area. The market town of Sherborne is close by with its mix of shops, cafés and restaurants as well as its castle (built by Sir Walter Raleigh in 1594) to explore. Dorchester is a short drive away as is the purpose-built village of Poundbury, commissioned by King Charles, it’s ideal for a wander around. Why not head over and see the Cerne Giant or explore the beach at the traditional seaside town of Weymouth? Ride the donkeys in the summer or have some traditional fish and chips!

Set all on one level, they have been finished to a very good standard and nestle in the heart of the Devonshire countryside, yet within easy reach of the Jurassic coast and midway between the towns of Axminster and Chard.
    Both properties are identical layouts inside, enjoying underfloor heating throughout and with a spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining areas. The gorgeous kitchens are very well equipped with everything you will need during your stay, including a handy washer/dryer. The living room has comfy sofas, Smart TV to catch up on your latest box set and large French doors leading to your private enclosed garden which has a lovely patio area and artificial grass allowing children and your four legged friends to enjoy the garden at any time of year.
