Visitors who are interested can learn about the management of woodland, hedge laying, wetlands and ponds, and establishing wild flowers to encourage wildlife; insects, reptiles, amphibians and mammals (including the rare dormouse!)Depending on the season guests may observe (or take part in) a variety of traditional activities and techniques including seed sowing, hedge laying, pond management and wildlife. For fishing enthusiasts, you will find wild brown trout river fly fishing 20 minutes away, along with still water rainbow trout venues in the local area, bass salt water fly fishing 75 minutes away and skippered sea fishing at Beer 75 minutes away.
