    Tembridge House is a luxurious, four-bedroom converted barn set on West Yeo Farm near Witheridge in mid Devon. Guests will love the rural tranquil location with its abundance of wildlife and beautiful views, together with the property’s underfloor heating, plenty of parking and large garden. The open plan living space feels bright and spacious with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. After a fun-filled day exploring Devon, gather your friends and family around the dining table for a homecooked meal. The living area offers a cosy place to unwind, coordinated with three comfortable sofas, a Smart TV with Freeview, a DVD player and a wood burner to warm those cooler evenings. The beautiful kitchen has granite worktops and is well equipped with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, American fridge/freezer with an ice dispenser, dishwasher and a washing machine. With doors opening out into the enclosed garden, you can enjoy the sunny patio and idyllic views, with a collection of furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Upstairs are three further bedrooms; one kingsize bed with an en-suite shower room, and two other twin bedrooms. The family bathroom offers both a bath and a shower cubicle. Make sure you take the time to admire the characterful mezzanine landing, which peers down upon a charming stone feature wall belonging to the kitchen.
    Surrounded by rolling green fields in splendid isolation, West Yeo Farm is set over 76 acres. This medieval farm, mentioned in the Domesday book, enjoys uninterrupted countryside views across the valley to the village of Witheridge beyond. There are many interesting walks across the land and along the river nearby, and in the autumn, it is possible to help with the annual apple harvest and cider production. This part of Devon is an excellent touring base with easy access to lots of places of interest. Nearby you can explore the Two Moors Way, visit RHS Rosemoor, The Grand Western Canal, Knightshayes House or the breathtaking scenery at Exmoor National Park, a short drive away. There are plenty of National Trust properties in the area, as well as some fabulous villages and farm shops.
    West Yeo Farm is just a couple of miles from Witheridge and a short drive from the market town of South Molton, known for its pannier market, quaint tea rooms and antiques shops. The accommodation is set midway between Devon’s two coastlines, convenient for a day out to either. The award-winning North Devon coastline is within a 50-minute drive and has golden sandy surfing beaches, whilst the Jurassic South Devon coastal beauty spots are within an hour’s drive.

    The aptly named Moor View with its views of Dartmoor into the far distance is located on the outskirts of Newton Abbot, Devon. Within easy access of not only Newton abbot itself, but Torquay, Teignmouth, Shaldon and Exeter which are all within a short driving distance. Whether visiting the local beaches or the beautiful moors, the property is situated in a great location for both.
    As you approach the newly refurbished property there is driveway parking for up to two cars, as well as plenty of free on road parking. Into the property, guests find themselves in the porch area, a very useful space for storing coats and shoes. Just past this area is the fully equipped kitchen and door leading out onto the sunny rear decked and patio area. The cosy living area with seating and TV looks out onto the front patio via a sliding door. A great area for sitting out and enjoying that early morning coffee or late-night glass of wine. One of the bedrooms at the front of the property contains twin zip together single beds and the other bedroom contains a double bed and benefits from French doors leading out onto the rear decked area and access ramp. Lastly, the family shower room benefits from a power shower with jets.
    As well as the wonderful places in the immediate surroundings of the bungalow, there are also many more local hot spots within driving distance, or using the nearby public transport via the nearby bus stops and train station. Torquay, Paignton and Brixham making up the famous English Riviera, and the likes of Dartmouth and Kingswear as well as Salcombe being just a few popular places throughout the South Hams.

    Welcome to Honey Hill Farm Cottages, the home of both Honey Bee (UK43395) and Bumble Bee (UK43396) cottages, two fabulous holiday homes. Set all on one level, they have been finished to a very good standard and nestle in the heart of the Devonshire countryside, yet within easy reach of the Jurassic coast and midway between the towns of Axminster and Chard.
    Both properties are identical layouts inside, enjoying underfloor heating throughout and with a spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining areas. The gorgeous kitchens are very well equipped with everything you will need during your stay, including a handy washer/dryer. The living room has comfy sofas, Smart TV to catch up on your latest box set and large French doors leading to your private enclosed garden which has a lovely patio area and artificial grass allowing children and your four legged friends to enjoy the garden at any time of year. In Honey Bee you will find a kingsize bed while Bumble Bee has a double bed, both have an en-suite shower rooms with walk in showers, the en-suite is a ‘Jack and Jill’ bathroom which allows access from both the bedroom and main living area. A ‘Murphy’ pull down double bed is available in the main living area with curtain to separate, allowing four guests to comfortably enjoy these wonderful retreats in the country. Opposite the parking area you will find the owner’s 4-acre field for walking the dogs and enjoying the views.
    You will find a local pub/restaurant and farm shop within a 5-minute walk of the properties, alternatively, jump in the car and explore the many things to do within a short drive. Axminster has small independent shops as well as larger stores and a railway station, so you could leave the car at home and hop aboard and head down to Exeter for a day in the city sampling restaurants or a spot of retail therapy!
    The Jurassic Coast beaches of Lyme Regis and Charmouth are just 20 minutes from you, here you can walk the promenade, swim in the sea or have an ice cream at Lyme, or hunt for Fossils in Charmouth while your dog swims in the river or the sea. Pop over to Honiton and hunt for an antique or two in the many shops there, or find a local farm shop and have a traditional Devonshire cream tea! Beach 9 miles.

Step through the gate into your fully enclosed garden area, with a large patio that has a fabulous seating area and is the perfect place to relax at any time of day, and tucked into the corner is your private hot tub with screening around to soak away your stresses while staring at the stars in the evening, or listening to the bird song during the day. Barnyard enjoys a southerly aspect making the most of the summer evenings and romantic sunsets.
    Inside, Barnyard is perfect for families of all ages, with level access throughout. The property has been designed with the visually impaired in mind. The stunning open-plan lounge, kitchen, and diner has a gorgeous vaulted ceiling with oak beams and original statement lighting fixtures. The lounge has a large Smart TV, comfy sofas and large French doors and windows overlooking and with access to the patio and hot tub while the dining area has a table and chairs and leads to the extremely well-equipped kitchen, with its quartz worktops, range cooker and breakfast bar, it will be a delight to prepare a meal at any time of day! Off the entrance hall, you will find a large utility area and a separate toilet, along with a wine store/pantry that completes this area. Head down the hallway where you will find the office/games room and the bedrooms. The office comes well-equipped with desks, ethernet ports and screens for those of you who need to occasionally bring work with you (or for a working holiday!) You will also find a games console for kids of all ages to enjoy. The spacious master bedroom has a super kingsize bed, French doors to the garden and a large en-suite with a level walk-in shower. Bedroom two has twin beds which can zip together to be a super kingsize bed and a handy shower in the room, allowing everyone to be able to get ready at the same time! Bedroom three has a double bed, and the family bathroom has a bath with a shower over.
    While Barnyard is completely private, located nearby to the owner, it is set on the their smallholding where they have sheep and chickens, a dedicated walkaround has been created for you to see the animals, however whenever you are outside of the garden please keep your four-legged family on a lead.
    If you can tear yourself away from Barnyard, you are met with a plethora of things to do in the local area. The market town of Sherborne is close by with its mix of shops, cafés and restaurants as well as its castle (built by Sir Walter Raleigh in 1594) to explore. Dorchester is a short drive away as is the purpose-built village of Poundbury, commissioned by King Charles, it’s ideal for a wander around. Why not head over and see the Cerne Giant or explore the beach at the traditional seaside town of Weymouth? Ride the donkeys in the summer or have some traditional fish and chips!
