    Set in the heart of River Cottage land, just outside the town of Axminster, these two properties have amazing views and are surrounded by rolling hills, and are just 10 minutes’ from the beach. Shepherds Knapp Lodge (ref UK13284) is a beautiful, detached, two bedroom lodge with a large well laid out living/kitchen/dining area, with a large comfy corner sofa. The pine dining table is perfect for mealtimes as well as socialising in the evening playing games or enjoying a glass of wine after a long day exploring. The two bedrooms are warm and comfortable with a double and a twin and the good sized shower room has a corner shower cubicle.
    Shepherds Knapp (ref UK13285) is a stunning semi-detached, two bedroom cottage, the beautiful and well-equipped kitchen/dining room has granite worktops, marble dining table and range cooker. The large living room has gorgeous leather sofas, a Smart TV and an PlayStation 3, perfect for rainy days. The large French doors lead onto the balcony with picture perfect views over the hills beyond. Upstairs are two sumptuous bedrooms with the main bedroom having a kingsize French bed. There is a twin bedroom and a beautiful shower room with Italian tiles and walk-in shower. Outside there are two seating areas, to the rear an enclosed private courtyard and to the front a private balcony with countryside views.
    The properties are perfect for attending courses at River Cottage or if you just want to head to the River Cottage Kitchen in Axminster to sample some of their tasty delights. Just 10 minutes drive away is the gorgeous seaside town of Lyme Regis with its sandy beach and seaside stores, the harbour town of West Bay (made famous by the TV series Broadchurch) is reachable within 20 minutes. Heading slightly further afield you will find the city of Exeter with its shops, restaurants and entertainment. You can also catch the train from nearby Axminster. Beach 4¾ miles.     Welcome to Honey Hill Farm Cottages, the home of both Honey Bee (UK43395) and Bumble Bee (UK43396) cottages, two fabulous holiday homes. Set all on one level, they have been finished to a very good standard and nestle in the heart of the Devonshire countryside, yet within easy reach of the Jurassic coast and midway between the towns of Axminster and Chard.
    Both properties are identical layouts inside, enjoying underfloor heating throughout and with a spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining areas. The gorgeous kitchens are very well equipped with everything you will need during your stay, including a handy washer/dryer. The living room has comfy sofas, Smart TV to catch up on your latest box set and large French doors leading to your private enclosed garden which has a lovely patio area and artificial grass allowing children and your four legged friends to enjoy the garden at any time of year. In Honey Bee you will find a kingsize bed while Bumble Bee has a double bed, both have an en-suite shower rooms with walk in showers, the en-suite is a ‘Jack and Jill’ bathroom which allows access from both the bedroom and main living area. A ‘Murphy’ pull down double bed is available in the main living area with curtain to separate, allowing four guests to comfortably enjoy these wonderful retreats in the country. Opposite the parking area you will find the owner’s 4-acre field for walking the dogs and enjoying the views.
    You will find a local pub/restaurant and farm shop within a 5-minute walk of the properties, alternatively, jump in the car and explore the many things to do within a short drive. Axminster has small independent shops as well as larger stores and a railway station, so you could leave the car at home and hop aboard and head down to Exeter for a day in the city sampling restaurants or a spot of retail therapy!
    The Jurassic Coast beaches of Lyme Regis and Charmouth are just 20 minutes from you, here you can walk the promenade, swim in the sea or have an ice cream at Lyme, or hunt for Fossils in Charmouth while your dog swims in the river or the sea. Pop over to Honiton and hunt for an antique or two in the many shops there, or find a local farm shop and have a traditional Devonshire cream tea! Beach 9 miles.

Hop on the bus and head to the beach, with Lyme Regis, Seaton, Beer and Charmouth being a quick bus ride away you can have all the fun at the seaside with no stressful parking! Axe Valley Wildlife Park is a fun day out with the kids as is the Seaton Tramway and Pecorama in Beer or River Cottage. While here why not visit the donkey sanctuary or spend some time wandering the gardens at Bicton Park. There is plenty on offer to make your holiday a truly wonderful experience.
