Bright and welcoming, this dog friendly property has an open plan living space with a large fireplace complete with wood burner and deep sofas. The kitchen and dining area provides all the mod cons to enable the chef in the group to cook delicious home-made fayre throughout the holiday. The central staircase is flooded with natural light from the overhead Velux window and leads to the first floor, where you will find two well-appointed, cosy bedrooms. Both rooms are lovingly furnished with vaulted ceilings. The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout and oozes traditional Yorkshire charm and character. Outside, the small courtyard has seating and enjoys the sun for the majority of the day. It also boasts a private hot tub, the perfect place to relax and enjoy your favorite holiday tipple. As a working stud farm, the owners offer the opportunity to look around and see some of their world class stallions, mares and foals (this can be arranged on arrival). For those with their own horses, stabling is available so your four legged friend can also enjoy a holiday (charges and additional T&Cs apply).
Fraisthorpe Beach is perfect for dog walking and horse riding and is popular with locals for exercising horses all year round. The village of Brandesburton is home to a couple of pubs offering traditional ales and bar meals, alongside a number of shops and restaurants. A short drive brings you to the pretty Wolds town of Beverley offering a host of independent shops, cafés and restaurants. A day at Beverley Races or a round of golf at one of the many local golf courses are sure to keep everyone entertained. The seaside town of Hornsea is on the doorstep and with pony rides, ice-cream and fish and chips is a lovely unspoilt family destination. There is so much to do and see in the surrounding area including the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs and the Nature Reserve at Sprun Point. Beach 6 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

West End Farmhouse stands proud in the peaceful village of Ulrome, close to the beautiful rugged Yorkshire Coast. This detached holiday property is excellent for families, as there is a very large garden for the children to run around in and a little Wendy house for them to play in. There is also a fantastic terraced area, which is ideal for a barbecue, and in addition, a boot room with a stairgate and storage for bikes and boots. For people who enjoy fishing, the owner provides coarse fishing free of charge (fishing licence required) for the fishing pond, which is just along the lane. In 15 minutes, guests can walk from the property down through the village lanes to the beach. It provides an excellent base for those wishing to explore the east coast of Yorkshire and what it has to offer. Close by, visit the famous RSPB Bempton Cliffs, where you can observe puffins and gannets in their natural habitat. There are some fantastic walks and cycle rides along the rugged cliffs of the east coast, some of it being part of the Cleveland Way. Just 8 miles down the coast, visit the hustle and bustle of the traditional seaside resort of Bridlington. With its working fishing port, you can see the catch brought in on the quayside. There is also a large sandy beach and rock pools for the kids to go crabbing. The famous Spa theatre also provides excellent entertainment throughout the year. Guests can take a short land train journey to Sewerby Hall and Gardens, just one of the many stately homes in the area. Burton Agnes and Sledmere are also worth a visit and for those who would like a trip out; you have the fantastic medieval city of York, which is just over an hour away. Springdale Farmhouse can be found surrounded by open countryside on top of the stunning Yorkshire Wolds, just outside the pretty village of Rudston and close to the thriving harbour town of Bridlington in North Yorkshire. This holiday home is perfect for families to gather and celebrate spending time together. The country style kitchen offers a host of modern appliances. There is plenty of work top space for preparing delicious home cooked meals for the family.
Springdale Farmhouse offers three different living rooms. The main area provides seating for the full group, a warming open fire for the cooler winter months and garden access out to the hot tub. In the evening take one of the two staircases to the floors above and find a selection of bedrooms to choose from. The master bedroom offers far reaching views and includes an en-suite. There are a further four bedrooms on the first floor. The final bedroom can be found on the second floor and spans the full length of the house. With vaulted ceilings, very low beams (height approximately 5 foot) and two zip and link super king size beds, this room is ideal for the younger visitors in the group. An enclosed formal courtyard sits to the rear of Springdale Farmhouse and is a sun trap during the summer months, and to the front of the house are neatly trimmed lawns and wood fired hot tub; here you can enjoy the stunning views, keep an eye out for deer, hares and owl or simply star gaze late into the night.
