    Once inside you will notice the stylish décor which is underpinned with a delightfully quirky home-from-home charm. There are many traditional touches such as reclaimed floorboards, old oak beamed ceilings and winding wooden staircases which make this self-catering farmhouse so unique and so utterly alluring. Relax in your choice of two homely living areas, each with real fire and bookshelves lined with page-turners.
    There are four beautiful first floor bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 6ft super kingsize bed which can also be configured as two singles, whilst the second bedroom boasts a kingsize bed adorned with fine linens and super soft duvets. These two bedrooms are accessed from the kitchen up a beautifully striped carpeted staircase, and each has oak-beamed ceilings and views across the fields. The other two bedrooms can be found at the top of a wooden staircase off the main living room. The third room has a welcoming kingsize bed and is best for watching the sunrise from the vantage point of your cloud soft pillow. The fourth bedroom has a single solid oak bed and benefits from far-reaching inland views across unspoilt countryside.
    Trevigue Holiday Cottage has a large upstairs bathroom with Victorian tiled floor, and vintage-style fittings including a deep bath for soaking in after a long day stomping the North Cornwall coast path. The ground floor shower room has a walk-in shower perfect for washing off sandy toes.
    Outside this gorgeous cottage, guests benefit from their own little garden with views stretching out to the fields and woodland beyond. The coastal path is a five-minute walk away, and you can clamber down to Strangles beach from the farmland. Just down the coast is Padstow with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants including Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. Here you can take a ferry across to Rock to enjoy some of the watersports on offer. You can also cycle or walk along the Camel Trail which follows the Camel Estuary along to the market town of Wadebridge and beyond to Bodmin.
