Three light, airy and very stylish apartments can be found in the heart of coastal Cromer at Sugar and Spice Tower. Set in a quiet residential area but just minutes from the beautiful beach and the bustling town centre, each has bags of charm and personality, while maintaining that luxury finish. And No.3, on the second floor also sleeps six and offers two king size rooms, plus an additional bedroom which can be arranged as two small singles or a further king size. All three apartments offer spacious open-plan living/dining rooms with Smart TVs and well equipped kitchens. The owner really does want you to have a lovely stay and has provided everything needed for a really great holiday.
If you can tear yourself away from these delightful retreats you will find yourself spoilt for choice when it comes to things to see and do. Take a stroll along the Edwardian Promenade, have a coffee on the famous pier and do a spot of people-watching or enjoy that glorious beach. Cromer also has a zoo, traditional seaside amusements, crazy golf and a cinema and offers a myriad of great places to shop, eat and drink with every taste catered for. But venture a little further and you will find dramatic coastlines, salt and clay marshes, picturesque quays, creeks and pretty little harbours all waiting to be explored.
Those wishing to see the Norfolk Broads can find themselves there in around thirty minutes and the up-and-coming city break destination of Norwich is just 45 minutes away. You can even see both by train from Cromer station. Add in great golf courses, including some cliff top ones with views to die for, history galore with the Blickling and Holkham Estates and the Muckleburgh and Thursford Collections, the latter with its Christmas Spectacular and you’ll soon be ready to book again, just to fit it all in. When you do return, you will no doubt return to Sugar and Spice Tower because it is just lovely! And all three apartments can be booked together to accommodate up to 20 guests, while maintaining your own space making this a truly flexible destination.

Great Trevillian Farm is a working sheep farm and offers a well-stocked carp lake for a spot of fishing, a children’s play area and the opportunity to feed Boris and Donald the Kune Kune pigs and pat the friendly ponies.
Tizzy Barn (CWC488161) is a beautiful barn conversion that boasts superb open plan living downstairs yet maintains a traditional feel. There is a cosy wood burner and comfy sofas which will make it a treat for a winter break. At the other end of the building is a set of French windows that open out into the enclosed patio garden. Upstairs the master bedroom has bi-fold doors to a Juliet balcony and an en-suite shower room. Ash Tree Cottage (CWC563734) is a pretty, stone cottage, converted from stables in 2003, there is an open plan living space, a warm and cosy bedroom, and a sun trap of a patio for al fresco dining or a glass of something cold while you plan your days ahead. Trebethis (CWC566710) has tiled floors, a beautiful granite fireplace made from three gateposts, exposed beams, including a massive ash beam that separates the kitchen from dining area, all combine to exude character in this superb barn conversion. Honeysuckle Cottage (CWC566741) has been converted from a 400 year old cart house. Inside you will find a bright and spacious open plan living area that welcomes you in, while both bedrooms are tastefully decorated and enhance the ambience. The property has been updated with a larger main bedroom with kingsize bed and a new bathroom with walk in shower. There are French doors that lead out onto a secluded patio garden, a perfect spot to soak up the Cornish air and sunshine, read a book or enjoy your favourite tipple. Mowhay Cottage (CWC566799) is beautifully presented, with vaulted ceilings, a heated tiled floor, a cosy wood burner, exposed beams and many other character features. The gardens at each property, although enclosed, will detain all but the most experienced dog escapologists.
Located a few miles inland from Crackington Haven which has pebbles and rock pools at the top of the beach but as the tide goes out a vast expanse of golden sand is exposed with some of the best surf on the north coast.
To the north is Widemouth bay and the bustling tourist town of Bude while to the west is the stunning and infamous village Boscastle, nestled in a steep valley where the river has cut a course through the steep cliffs to the sea. There are secluded coves, majestic views, wildlife and even a blowhole. Tintagel is 8 miles away and boasts a magnificent new footbridge to reach the castle on a single level and has made the journey to the headland significantly easier. Beach 5 miles.

Polean Farm Cottages are located in Cornwall, down green lanes, off the Looe to Polperro road, just outside the village of Pelynt. The farm is set amongst rolling farmland and is less than 2 miles from the sea. All of the cottages are full of character and provide a cosy home-from-home. They have all been converted from original farm buildings which date back to the 18th century.
The Old Farmhouse (ref UK12895) is a historical, semi-detached farmhouse which has been tastefully renovated and is perfect for a large family get together or for two families to holiday together.
Little Owls Cottage (ref UK12896) is a detached barn named after the owls that still live in the nesting boxes around the building which can sometimes be heard at night. It is set in its own garden with glorious views across the farm and towards the village of Pelynt.
Rosebud Cottage (ref UK12897) and Shires Rest (ref UK12899) are pleasant, beamed cottages with lovely countryside views. Before being converted, both cottages were used to store hay in the winter and you can still see many of the original features.
Threpney Cottage (ref UK12898) is an imaginatively converted ’roundhouse’ and is full of character. The cottage was named after the old twelve sided three penny piece due to its shape.
Twinkles Cottage (ref UK12900) is a charming and spacious ‘upside down’, beamed cottage, with great views across the farm and surrounding countryside.
Waggoners Cottage (ref UK12901) is a delightful single-storey cottage, with its own garden and views of the front fields and the children’s play area at the rear. The cottage was named after the wagons that used to be stored in it and you can still see many of the original features of the barn.
The Mealhouse (ref UK12902) was originally used to store the feed or ‘meal’ for the pigs that resided in the pig sty which can still be seen across from it. The Mealhouse is detached and set slightly apart from the other cottages, offering uninterrupted views across the farm.
Polean Farm provides the perfect destination for a family holiday. The farm offers animal feeding each week day morning, where you may help bottle feed lambs (seasonal) and hand feed pigmy goats and chickens, as well as enjoy pony or tractor rides! The farm is also a working livery yard and children and parents often enjoy visiting the horses and ponies each day.
Guests have free use of an indoor heated swimming pool just a few minutes’ drive away. It’s perfect for families and children who want to splash around or those wanting to put in a few lengths and keep fit. Guests are also welcome to make free use of the nightly entertainment at the same local holiday complex which is just a few minutes’ drive from the farm. The entertainment is on every night and includes children’s entertainment, followed by grown up entertainment with top musicians, performers and comedians regularly appearing throughout the season. Children are allowed in the venue for the whole evening. Please note, the pool is not available during August due to overcrowding, and entertainment is not available November-March (except during school holidays). South Pusehill Cottage is a very well-presented holiday property with character features such as exposed beams and bespoke furniture and design. Although slightly rural with far reaching countryside views, the cottage is perfectly located for all the attractions and stunning scenery that North Devon has to offer, and is around 1½ miles away from the nearest beach at Westward Ho!, which is popular with surfers as well as sunbathers.
Westward Ho! offers an array of seaside amenities including some fascinating curiosity shops and a good range of restaurants and cafés, many of which are regularly visited by locals for their quality fayre. The beaches are a main attraction of this area for many, and the South West Coast Path also runs through the area. This is a must for keen runners and walkers! Swimming, surfing, canoeing, entertainment for all the family and fishing are all close by too. If golf is your thing, then you should visit the Royal North Devon Club which is nearby, it was founded in 1864 and is the oldest golf course in England!
The popular Tarka Trail can be accessed locally too, providing the unique opportunity to follow a disused railway line by foot or by cycle allowing you to enjoy some of Devon’s finest countryside and scenery while discovering the towns of Barnstaple and Bideford, where you can wander during the weekly pannier markets, with a host of local produce, quality cafés and crafts on offer. On your Tarka Trail journey be sure to visit the Fremington Quay Café for a tasty bite to eat and then the estuary-side village of Instow – where sunsets are a local treasure! And one place not to forget to visit is the world-famous village of Clovelly with its steep pedestrianised cobbled main street, traditional architecture, donkeys and views over the Bristol Channel. As you enter the recently renovated Harbour Retreat, you find yourself in the downstairs hallway. The fully equipped kitchen is straight ahead and the open bright and airy living/dining area is to your right. The living/dining area leads out onto the pleasant enclosed rear garden via a sliding door, with decked area, hot tub and BBQ as well as part lawn with shrubs; a great area to sit out and enjoy the last of the sun after a long day at the beach! Upstairs is the family walk-in shower room and two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms benefits from a kingsize bed, the second bedroom is a double room but also has a pull out single bed, handy for if friends come to stay. The third bedroom contains bunk beds and is a great children’s room.
The property is situated just around the corner from Paignton Harbour where there are plenty of restaurants and bars to visit. There is also a beautiful small cove named ’fairy cove’ just a minutes walk towards the harbour and large park, and coastal walks at your very doorstep.
