You will find a sleek fitted kitchen to the back of the property where delicious meals can be whipped up using the excellent appliances. Dine in the pretty dining room, whether a romantic meal for two or a gathering with friends, and afterwards on a summer evening, take some drinks out into your enclosed courtyard where outdoor seating and a fire pit awaits; perfect for al fresco dining. Gather in the lounge after a fun filled day and enjoy the relaxed ambience with stylish décor and comfortable seating, perfect for watching a film or playing games with the family. Retire to one of the three lovely bedrooms to prepare for another action-packed day.     Amble is known as ‘the friendliest port’ and the locals embrace this. The harbour is home to a busy Sunday market popular with locals and visitors, and here you can also peruse the cute pod-style shopping outlets. The harbour area has two great fish and chip shops, and a couple of more upmarket restaurants specialising in fresh fish. Boat trips to Coquet Island can also be taken here. From the harbour, the views towards Warkworth Castle are lovely on a clear day and you can walk to Warkworth from Amble along past the marina and river. Nearby Warkworth is a pretty, picture postcard village dominated by its castle which sits at the top of the village. The local pubs and cafés are all well worth a visit too.

    Amble is close to the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, stretching along the beautiful coastline to Berwick-upon-Tweed, with miles of golden beaches and castles. Be sure to visit Holy Island during your stay. The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away, where you can visit the Duke of Northumberland’s home at Alnwick Castle, more famed for featuring in the Harry Potter films as well as a Downton Abbey Christmas edition.

    Northumberland is also home to a magnificent Gold Tier International Dark Sky Park. Travel west to Hadrian’s Wall towards Corbridge, easily reachable from Amble. Golf can also be found nearby. Beach 250 yards. Shop 700 yards, pub and restaurant 175 yards.
