    Situated on the outskirts of the Dunkeswell airfield, a busy hub for light aircraft, flight training, wingwalking and skydiving.
    The charming market town of Honiton is just 5 miles away and was made famous for its pottery and lace. The town is regarded as the antiques capital of the south west, and there are traditional street markets held here 3 days a week.
    The ancient city of Exeter is within easy reach and worth a visit. Explore the city walls in the centre of town, whilst a visit to the Gothic cathedral and Norman castle is a must. Don’t miss the underground passages and tunnels that were used to house lead pipes bringing clean drinking water from natural springs into the city.

If you fancy something a little more adventurous, go out trekking from the local horse riding stables in the village of Mary Tavy. Centrally located midway between the North and South coasts, there are beaches at Bude and Westward Ho! that are well worth the drive.
