It is rumoured that the name of the village comes from a Viking that lived there! This rural retreat is ideal for walks, seaside holidays or exploring the many market towns in the East Riding such as Beverley, Malton and Driffield. Thwaite Cottage has lots to offer bird lovers due to its proximity to the Yorkshire Nature Triangle, including RSPB Bempton, Spurn Point and the North Cave Wetlands.
