Coastal Soul has an open-plan living area, combined with the kitchen and dining areas. The living area has a Smart TV with Freeview and Wi-Fi, making this a great place to chill out after a day exploring. Relax into the three-seater sofa or armchair, or step through sliding doors out to the garden which has a large table and chairs/bench with cushions and barbecue (utensils provided) and relax in the summer sun with a glass of your favourite tipple. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm whilst chatting with friends or family in this great social space. Don’t worry about washing up as there is even a dishwasher and washing machine! On the first floor, retreat to one of the two bedrooms for a restful night’s sleep, and you will also find the bathroom on this floor equipped with a shower and bath, for your choice of a relaxing soak or a quick rinse.
Coastal Soul is situated in the seaside village of Lake (between Sandown and Shanklin). Take a 5-minute walk down the path to the sandy beach and promenade which links Sandown to Shanklin. There you will find a friendly café and public restroom, meaning you can spend the whole day on the beach! You can pick up your groceries here as there are two supermarkets in Sandown and corner shops too. There is a revetment walkway from Sandown which takes you to the neighbouring resort of Shanklin. Here you will find the famous Old Village and Shanklin Chine. There are great transport links in Sandown, you can ride the train and visit Ryde, a Victorian town with many bars and restaurants. Or you can hop on a bus to explore the island; in the summer months, there is an open top bus.

The house is a beautiful 1820 building and the conversion is tasteful and contemporary whilst retaining the original features and was fully renovated May 2019. Exposed beams, high ceilings and large windows with panoramic views offer period elegance with every modern comfort catered for. A utility room and downstairs toilet are also provided for your convenience. The vast show stopping kitchen (custom designed by Tom Howley of Surrey), living room and dining area is the perfect place to spend quality time together. The dining table seating ten or more guests is bordered with windows overlooking the lush green gardens and the garden itself is accessed via patio doors. The patio holds a beautiful outdoor sofa, the perfect place to relax your afternoons and evenings away. There is a gas barbecue to provide culinary delights for your friends and family all within the same setting, so the chef is never far from the party!
The Farmhouse is a perfect base to relax, unwind in and explore this unique corner of Britain. With many attractions, countryside and seaside resorts, there is definitely something for everyone. The Island is surprisingly easy to reach and only a couple of hours from London, with regular ferries running from Southampton, Portsmouth, and Lymington. You could leave the car behind should you wish, and travel here by rail and high-speed catamaran across the Solent, by booking a combined ticket from any Mainland train station to nearby Sandown.

Yaverland Beach is practically on your doorstep, and voted one of the Island’s best beaches, providing a long stretch of sand and great swimming waters for children and families. Along this stretch you can see the red sandstone through to the white chalk of Culver Cliff, and it is around here that fossil remains can be found; be sure to book a guided fossil walk at the nearby Dinosaur Isle attraction,
It’s an easy short flat stroll from Fort Spinney, past the Zoo, famous for its big cats, into Sandown, a truly traditional British beach resort with a pier, amusements, as well as Sandham Garden’s play area, with go-karting sky nets and crazy golf.
