The garden is fully enclosed and houses a table and chairs, recliners, BBQ and table tennis table. There is also the option to rent a hot tub via a local supplier at a favourable rate. Originally the local coach house with stables and accommodation for visitors, there are still remnants of a bygone age, with lashing points for the horses and cobbled pathways. The secure gated walled garden provides an ideal area for children and pets. The village has a local post office and store, and popular unspoilt Steephill Cove, cricket club and splendid Botanical Gardens are all close by. The Victorian seaside resort of Ventnor has an esplanade where freshly caught fish, crab and lobster can be purchased. Other places of interest include Isle of Wight Glass, St. Boniface Down, or further afield The Needles, Carisbrook Castle and Osborne House. The farmhouse was originally farm cottages to Hamstead Grange and parts of the property are believed to date back to Tudor times, when the grange was owned by the Monks of Quarr Abbey on the island.

Golden Hill Fort is situated within 50 acres of Golden Hill Country Park. Originally built in 1863 in a distinctive hexagonal shape, which is elevated 60 metres above the north west coast of the Isle of Wight. This spectacular Grade I listed building has now been beautifully converted into 18 luxury houses.

Internally, the property offers brick barrel vaulted ceilings with coloured LED mood lighting, solid oak floors with underfloor heating and high quality appliances.
